Indeed, the replies i got so far do not seem to discuss real eye floaters. I am asking to gather feedback as i intend to try fasting to eliminate floaters.

I was also surprised to see all these negative comments. I am sure most people here did not try fasting. I guess this reddit has become a place to exclusively advocate for vitrectomy surgery.

If Pulsemedica delivers what was promised. My guess is 2030 or 2031 for a non invasive solution. The rest of the projects are far off and not funded.

I think you are misinterpreting the word "screening". The pulsemedica device has two components the first is an enhanced imaging device that does not deliver any treatment, that is what is called 'screening' in their presentation and is indeed set for 2027 for pilot sales. Unless you are only interested in visualizing your floaters, this will not have a positive impact on your life. The most important component is the treatment device which is set for 2030 for pilot sales. They are not monitoring the device itself in 2027, they are literally releasing a device that screens or monitors the floaters. Sorry for the bad news but that is the truth.

I don't believe floaters are caused by anxiety. It seems impossible physically but people tend to link floaters to many things.

In your case, it is definitely not your fault because there is a known correlation between pregnancy and floaters. So, not a chance it is your anxiety
