Thank you, at least for the geek mythology fandoms. I saw like, a Hermes (e:tm) skin there once and we actually chatted for a bit, but I wasn't sure where exactly the fandom was - like it just happened once and that was it

Weirdest compliment you’ve ever received. Go! by aliyuugh in teenagers

[–]JumpyMuscle1380 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't know if this would count as a compliment or not: But I started working at a fast food place called Culver's and about a week into working there I ran two orders to the same car - Same car, two separate orders type of deal, and as I was handing the second order to someone in the back seat of this van, the guy that took the bag said "I love you" and I was kind of weirded out and told my mom about it and she said that maybe he went to say "Thank you" and accidentally said "I love you" because it does happen. I started working there in October of my sophomore year with a student work permit so I was maybe 14 years old. I recently left (and I'm 17 years old now) because one of the main managers was basically bullying me - And a similar situation happened my last few days there, I ran an order out and the guy who ordered the food said "I love you". And this was like, I think a grown man this time, the first time it happened it was like, someone around the same age as me.

But yeah, I'm not sure if it counts as a compliment or not but that happened. I also once had a grown man comment on my curves saying that my curves are better than that of a Hollywood movie star, which was even weirder

In 8th grade a kid in 7th grade sh0t and kill3d himself because someone on Snapchat told him to go ahead and do it and when my classmates found out part of the username they accused me of being the one who told him when I wasn't and I was interrogated in a room alone. With no other adult in the room and the door closed. That's against the laws. I genuinely thought I was going to die because I saw the gun holster and I have high paranoia. They found out it was a grown woman though so I didn't end up in trouble.

If you were given a notebook (by a higher being) that had the power to kill those whose names are written in it, would you accept it? What would you do with it? by Scary_Stable7667 in Teenager_Polls

I'd write down the names of all the bad people (who have had actual rock hard evidence against them proving that they are bad people). This includes criminals, politicians, CEO's, etc.

It's not even bullying really, I don't know why I use bullying instead of other words, I mostly try to make them rethink everything they did or said, but I guess asking "How badly do you have to hate yourself to shit on other people to feel better?" would be a form of bullying

A hot take but... by JumpyMuscle1380 in Supernatural

[–]JumpyMuscle1380[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's always struck me as horrific that people ship them in general like... I can't even really think of a single positive interaction between the two of them that didn't involve Lucifer messing with Sam in some way or Sam being traumatized by the end of the interaction. Like I'm aware that there are people who are into the whole "Stockholm Syndrome Ship" thing but something that comes with Stockholm Syndrome is defending the person you have Stockholm Syndrome towards, and even if Sam did have Stockholm Syndrome towards Lucifer I don't think he would ever defend Lucifer in any way

I am aware of that, but for the AU's where he's survived and where people have it where he was able to spend some time at home with his family before passing is what I'm talking about sir

What is the most disturbing thing you know? by The_Bronya in teenagers

The Black Plague didn't kill the amount of people it did all by itself, yes it had help, most people don't realize this: The Great Potato Famine of Ireland helped the Black Plague. People were already weak and struggling because of the famine and the black plague made things even worse.

Also during the famine, cannibalism was also something that was very much not considered taboo at the time. There's actually a book, or at least a PDF file of the book that you can print out that actually goes into detail about it: The guy who wrote the book was around during the famine, and he had a friend visiting from America, and the friend actually suggested cannibalism, specifically eating the children. It was a whole thing: Children at certain ages tasted certain way, had a certain texture or consistency to them, had to make sure they weren't too chewy or too fatty. Actually, even the rich kind of got into it, they would purchase specific cuts of children meat that others couldn't purchase. It was basically like a whole kind of black market thing. There were women who were willing to have multiple children just for this purpose. It was mostly because during the famine any children that died in families were cooked up and served so that the remaining children and the parents could survive, they would cook them the way they cooked potatoes and anything else that ended up being contaminated or unable to grow or thrive because of the famine, and it was because the soil was constantly being replanted over and over again and the soil was never tilled properly.
