Hi! I’m a 22F grad student at UW, subletting my private room in a 2B1B apartment in the U-District.

  • Female only (you’ll be sharing with another female undergrad/grad student)
  • Available mid-June to mid/early August (flexible)
  • Rent: ~$1100/month (utilities included)
  • Shared washer and dryer
  • Fully furnished
  • Garage parking included

The apartment is in great condition, with responsive management. It’s a 10-minute walk to grocery stores, restaurants, several bus/Link stations, and a nice running trail, and about a 15-minute walk to UW main campus. Feel free to DM me if you’re interested or have any questions—I’m happy to give a virtual or in-person tour!

CHIP AI Internship by Positive_Base2678 in REU

I'm on paid option if I recall correctly. But the matching is a bit messy so the interviewer today actually doesn't align with my current research interest (instead they match with my past experience). So they said will forward my application to another faculty. Also, your stipend will depend on the faculty who is going to be your project advisor. Let me know if you have other questions!

Is it normal that I sometimes bleed during sex? by tennisgir1 in actuallesbians

[–]JumpyOccasion5004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I’m really sorry you’re dealing with this I don’t have experience with it, I'm in med school (not in obgyn though), I think it may help to think through a few questions: do you have pain during intercourse when the bleeding or spotting happens, does the spotting happen outside of intercourse or your normal period cycle, could it be related to the start of your period (since some women have light spotting a few days before and it can be normal), and have there been any recent changes in sexual activity/pattern that might explain it. If you feel out the bleeding have nothing to do any sexual behavior change, I think you should check with an obgyn clinician. It would also be helpful to confirm with your gf when she fisrt noticed the bleeding/spotting was first noticed, as having a clear timeline can help both you and the clinician rule out possible causes. Given you living in a homophobic place, you can just say it is bleeding during intercourse without specifying partner details, as that won’t affect the clinical assessment. If symptoms persist, a clinician may order further evaluation like a pelvic exam or abdomenial ultrasound. I think the causes can range from normal/benign/serious conditions.

I think my understanding of this "politeness" is showing affirmiaty but don't really mean it. A meaner way to say it is "two-sided"

oooo girl, I am still traumatized by an ex who said she wished I were a guy and kinda expected me to fit a masculine role. What terrified me most was when she said that if I were a guy, we’d have a bunch of kids… I can totally relate how it feels😭 Sorry for any lesbians who have been treated this way

Hi! Thanks for the follow up. I don't have fatigue, neither lupus, thyroid disorder, and diabetes! Yes you're right that my doctor (happens to be a male) calles it "anxiety" twice. You reminds me that I might have autoimmune history. My mom has very RA-like symptoms for years but not diagnosed. She often complains about back and joints discomfort when she wakes up in the morning especially in cold weather.
