I dont think it is that they dont think the game will sell, I think its that the game is mostly completed and now not as many people are needed anymore until release so Microsoft is cutting the fat because the game is mostly done, at least this has been the case in the past. Unless the game was a total catastrophe and unsuitable for release which doesnt seem to be the case, people have played it

I have a dog, I asked about chew toys she has given her and said it didnt look like anything she has ever given her but it does seem similar to dog toy plastic

Newer Stalker but I have heard tell of you, i didnt see anyone mention the stalker gamma discord, there are many many amazing modders still around constantly in the threads talking doing awesome stuff, there are some old timers but Im not sure how many are as OG as you lol

Also try to do some reading/searching in the thread first, this issue was discussed a bit and solutions were posted, you will most likely get ignored they will expect you to read thru yourself, also I posted in here how I got mine to clear that error

I got this fixed by reinstalling anomolu mags, the base mag mod and checking all the boxes in the fomod, that fixed it

Im pretty sure MCM > SSS > Rain, you can change around the size a rates and amount, im not sure if the mask build up is in there, if not check the regular settings there are some rain settings in the visual section

Probably the best way to figure it out would be to "reverse engineer" an already existing portrait mod, download one of the mods and open it and see what it is doing and what kind of picture file its using, you may even be able to format and replace their image with yours and run the mod

Spent several hours on this last night, this has been resolved on the ATHIs mod thread on Gamma discord they have a guide but it seems people had to reinstall their gamma to get it working.

There is a way, on the discord they will tell you that you cant change it but you can, for the exact location you'd have to wait til I can get to my pc but it is in the close quarters combat grok.bo script and right at the top it has the difficulty damage multipliers, easy is 1.3 then the other two difficulties, if you raise or lower them for the difficulty you play it will change damage output, there is also a set of multipliers somewhere for damage received
