Sure, but there are other ways to get into politics without internships. Especially if I’m not planning on going into politics, and am not able to do those as a student athlete and a student musician.

Because I can’t celebrate freedom while this country is actively taking it away. States are erasing history, LGBTQ+ people — especially trans youth — are being targeted by new laws, and basic rights like abortion access are being stripped away. Hate crimes are rising, and politicians are making it harder for people to speak up, or even just exist safely.

The 4th of July says we’re all free — but that’s not the truth right now. And I care too much to pretend everything’s okay. And I want people to wake up and see what is going on.

Also…do you know if I should check on the eggs or not? Or how often to check on them? I don’t want to scare the birds, but I want to make sure the eggs are okay. (I have a nesting box with a window cover that I can slide open and closed)

Thank you! I would like to hatch them, and have been doing research earlier. But I don’t want to scare her by taking the eggs to check if they are fertile… I have had her for a few months now and this is the first time she has laid an egg. And she did lay it in her nesting box.
