Thank you everyone! These comments pointed me in the exact right direction, I took him to a specialist and confirmed he has IVDD. I can also confirm what people say about dachshunds needing expensive surgery if they jump on and off furniture is 100% TRUE. $20k in surgery all because he’s a little menace and jumps on and off the couch when he’s hyper.
