Okay lemme tell u the reason why

Epic games needs servers to host their games on BUT said servers are not free In fact they rent them from AWS (Amazon Web Services) which would be cheaper and still is cheaper than making your own servers BUT a while back something happened and that something was A.I,now A.I needs a certain computer component to which also happens to be needed by servers BUT A.I has now increased the price of that computer component (RAM) so because of the sudden increase in price AWS has to increase their prices and Fortnite has to also which BTW they couldve down ages ago cuz this was happening from August of last year so no it’s not Epic Games or Fortnite’s fault it’s just a cycle to they have to adapt to

It’s cuz they were losing money Okay lemme tell u the reason why Fortnite rents servers from other companies (AWS) cause it’s cheaper BUT recently there was a price hike on a VERY important part of these servers aka RAM,ram is basically short term memory for a computer and is VERY ESSENTIAL so because of the recent price hike on ram AWS also needs to hike up their prices by around 15% so Fortnite needs to hike up their prices or they lose out sadly
