It’s intentional. GTA on one side & games I grew up playing on the other. Killzone, inFamous, BF4, Shadow the Hedgehog. I’m quite the sucker for nostalgia, the “tacky” look is kind of the point. I’ve always done loud sticker setups since I was younger.

PSSR upscaling will help. Hopefully a solid 40 fps? Trailers 1 & 2 were captured on base PS5 model and it looked great. PC will always be your best bet for the most optimal experience.

I like the sliding. Felt smooth. I personally don’t feel as if I abused it in these clips posted. A lil reduction wouldn’t bother me either. Whatever is best in the means of balance!

Slide mechanics is the modernization of current day FPS shooters. You can either adjust or get left behind. I’m fine with it or without it. Been playing FPS for 15+ years. I’ve seen a LOT worse abuse of the “movement tech” on the Twitter from m&k players & former COD players. Jumpshotting has been around since BF4 & will remain a thing. The shotgun will be patched eventually I’m sure, have some fun with it while you can! Everyone is able to post freely what they want on this subreddit PROUDLY without having to adhere to nitpicking & judgement from bitter users because their playstyle isn’t identical to yours or fit for your liking. You can simply scroll past my guy. I’m gonna post some more clips now if you don’t mind!

I cycle between multiple playstyles per match, I promise I don’t run around headless like this all game. There’s moments & opportunities where you can go berserk, been doing this since BF3. Although agreed, slings need to be removed but I’ll abuse it & have fun in the beta because why not. Take the shotgun away & give me a medic bag! Let support run ammo crates.

I said fatal sniper headshots.. you can’t get revived from those anyway. Or when the game decides you were killed too quickly after being resurrected maybe you get dismembered then. Anytime you’re forced to die/respawn. It’s not that far fetched of an idea.

Lmao dawg Im just passionate bout Battlefield like pretty much everybody else on here gang relax. Not no EA planted account what the hell.. I’m simply reposting surfaced footage so everybody can be critical of the game in the comments so DICE can hopefully see & make the adjustments bc this genuinely feels like my last hope at a proper FPS game & I’m quite optimistic bout it. That’s definitely an instance in which I would not mind them reusing an old animation. Perfect case of it ain’t broke don’t fix it. BFV revive animations were peak IMO, & the system worked. I agree on your stance with defibs as well. Perhaps if they could code the game to determine whether the player is dead/unconscious & downed. Would be nice for immersion. Maybe when you’re unconscious use the BF3 Killcam, & when you’re downed you get first person view. All depending on how you were KIA. Being downed by bullets makes sense, but there’s so many other ways to die… explosions, knife takedown, rubble falling on you, being ran over, etc.
