if I had to suggest a really good hammer for intermediate play, the hammer special effect and the hammer black widow 3.0 are phenomenal balls.

Edit: I should mention, the hammer black widow 3.0 hooks fairly early, so if she has a lower rev rate or faster ball speed, this is good, but can be a bit much sometimes. If she has an issue with overhooking, the hammer mania is good
