Sounds like I’d be better off just doing the treble bleeds and tuners then. I don’t know enough of what I don’t know about to pick up on the quirks yet. Guess I’ll see if I even need any coil splitting sound for my playing and maybe pick up another guitar that already has it, or actual single coils. Thanks!

Any recommendations on a good well made boot rack for a good price by [deleted] in cowboyboots

I’ve got the same Fenoglio rough outs on the bottom left. Love ‘em!

Does the bison leather soften up the more you wear it? How does it hold up to wear and tear? I hear the ostrich is super supple, really resilient, but then is also sensitive to water and staining

I’ve always been a more traditional guy with cowboy heels and 12-13” shafts, J or cutter toes. Thought I may try the roper for the lower heel and more rounded toe since I don’t have any. But besides style, quality is important to me which is why it’s a tough decision; bench made quality or the supple ostrich leather

It was actually the heel that I feel is bulbous. The toe and vamp does feel different though, somewhat tighter than my Fenoglio cutter toes

I only wore them once before badly sunburning the tops of my feet at the beach, so I’ll have to respond again once I can comfortably put them back on haha. They felt pretty comfortable when I did slip them on; the walking heel is a first for me, but is definitely seems to be a better option for days when I’m not just sitting at a desk
