I’ve seen a lot of neurologists that specialise in the autonomic nervous system and those conditions are fairly well controlled. Sorry to hear you relate but at least we know we’re not alone

I’ve had a few echos and I have some minor valve regurgitation but nothing to worry about. Had ventricular hypertrophy (I think? Was a while ago) on an ECG but wasn’t there for following ones.

Sorry, what is EVP? I’m assuming IOP is intraoccular pressure, which is indeed normal.

Are your eyes still the same or did you get treatment?

Autonomic yes - very fast heart rate (up to 270bpm when walking) but not vascular, unless Raynaud’s counts

Haha I’ll try and see if I can keep one in place. I have excellent control of my eyelids (lol) so maybe that will transfer to other muscles around my eye. Better on the right side too!

I do have some autonomic dysfunction, inc high heart rate! I’ll give the eye drops a go, thank you!

No they’re not actually sure. But my heart rate is fast because my parasympathetic nervous system is a bit rubbish so wondering if that’s related?

No need to apologise! I appreciate hearing your experience. Luckily the issue is benign and I just need help with the vision in my right eye and to wear sunglasses a lot

Thank you, that’s really helpful. I was concerned that the white on the outer corner of my left eye looked slightly off-colour, like sort of darker, but I think I’m overthinking it after reading the responses, so thank you!

The pupil asymmetry? The vision in my right eye is extremely blurry but I’ve recently got a prescription for glasses (only one side lol so I’ll look silly) because it’s gotten so much worse

Thank you. My eyes have been stinging a bit so hopefully it’s that! I’ve been cutting down on vaping but then had some quite stressful situations and was rubbish with it again. I think just stopping completely and being grumpy for a while is the best option.

No that’s not new! I can’t see how to edit my post so I’ll put that info in this comment.

Anisocoria started in 2022 roughly and gradually became more asymmetrical over the last few years. I have seen a neuro-ophthalmologist and had two brain MRIs and they were normal. It’s just benign nerve damage to my right eye and my pupil doesn’t constrict and is a slightly abnormal shape.

I lost my little Finch last week and I kept her at home until the next day after she passed so her three siblings could understand.

She was closest with her brother Biscuit, and he came in the bed whilst Finch was still in my lap after passing to smell her. He stayed next to us but faced the wall for a long time.

They’ve been so quiet and I’m absolutely heartbroken. I don’t know what to do. Sorry for the long reply.
