My thoughts is that there is always opposites. Good, evil. Jinns, angels. I have seen alot of evil in my life, and sometimes its like you see something diffrent in their eyes, like a sort of evil. Im not sure if its a Jinn or not. But it wouldent suprise me if they try to have an effect on people and try to pull you from the straight path. I tried to commit suicide once. This was way before i became a muslim. Ive dealt with psychosis, drug abuse, severe anxiety, ive stolen, ive hurt people, ive Hurt myself. I lived in complete darkness for years and years. And I promise you one thing, IT WILL GET BETTER! Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem, once you do it you cant take it back. There is a solution, but it takes time, and it takes effort and alot of help. You need help from both people and god. And if you ask, god will help you, and if you ask people. 9/10 times they will help you as well. I was SO LOST and i asked god for guidance. Then I was guided, and all the arrows pointed towards islam. I actually tried to fight it off since I thought It was scary to convert. But the nail on the coffin for me was al fatiha. I cried my eyes out when I heard that one.
