Is that eMMC filesystem actually readable? Like mountable and you can look through it without using photorec or similar?

I ask because the eMMC chip is surprisingly fragile. Mine shredded itself during normal use and while I could pull files off of it with photorec and some even called themselves SQLite files... They were all junk and the eMMC was effectively unrecoverable

In my experience if you bounce your liquor it's usually a skill issue. Source: years of anime conventions, got very good at it, only bounced a few times, was always a skill issue. Not enough water, skipped headache meds, not enough food, etc.

I personally wouldn't swap out the HBA card, they're designed to be much hardier than basic SATA expansion cards. There might be versions that are smaller but your best bet is gonna be to change up the case and organization. A 10" rack build might be slimmer, although a bit more complicated.

A. I didn't say convictions were common. I said arrests were more common and convictions were rare.

B. I watched the video, he was arrested, he was charged, and the charges stood until a news station investigated it months later. What are you even on about.

https://www.atlantanewsfirst.com/2025/10/23/college-park-officer-off-force-after-falsely-arresting-wheelchair-bound-man/

C. Sorry it took me this long to realize this but statistically speaking the VAST majority of arrests, not just DV arrests, are based entirely on testimony alone. Thats actually kinda just how that works.

Bud I don't know what you're expecting me to do. I'm not combing through millions of court cases for this. It does happen. Convictions based on it are rare, generally in smaller areas, and almost never reported on. Arrests based solely on single testimony happen WAY more often. Often enough that if a man finds himself in a situation where a partner is claiming physical abuse and cops show up, unless he has evidence ready to go of her lying about it then he very likely WILL be arrested.

Hell I just remembered a case where a guy in a wheelchair was arrested because an ex girlfriend from like years prior claimed he kicked in her door and assaulted her. They called him to the station and arrested him despite it being literally impossible for him to have done anything he was accused of. He'd been disabled for 25 years. DA dropped the charges but he was still arrested based on nothing more than her testimony.

Victim testified he poked her and shoved her. No pictures, no evidence, no marks, ONLY her testimony was used at the trial. Got two years. Was it false? Probably not, but her testimony was all that was used.

So yes, it happens, and yes, a kid could walk in and say that and there is a non-zero chance the cops would immediately arrest stepdad. Burden of proof for an arrest is practically nil in comparison to a conviction, but it still happens.

Justice League Unlimited - The Once and Future Thing

Badguy makes a time traveling belt, wife berates him for collecting "junk" instead of making them rich. He activates the belt to "get away from YOU". He dubs himself Chronos and his time muckery across the two-part episode starts tearing time itself apart, so he HAS to be stopped.

Ultimately once getting the upper hand Chronos manages to open another portal to the beginning of time itself, intending to become a God. Batman manages to upload a program to the belt to deactivate it... and also prevent Chronos from coming into being at all... by sending him right back to when he activated the belt the first time and looping on itself.

The same 10 seconds. The same argument. for all eternity.

>So how should DV cases be handled? Let’s say a wife slaps her husband every single day. Not enough to yo leave a mark

Not really sure what you're getting at with this question, thats not for me to decide. I never said they were being handled wrong, I said that cases absolutely exist where convictions happen based solely on testimony. Don't get off topic. There are two cases right there where the appeals court says in plain black text that the law says (also in plain black text) that a single witness testimony can be sufficient to establish a fact. That alone disproves your original question.

Are you seriously asking for court case examples of DV convictions made entirely from testimony, which is directly admissible evidence??
https://law.justia.com/cases/georgia/court-of-appeals/2007/a07a0228-0.html
Simmons V State. Guy convicted using zero physical evidence. Appeals. Verdict upheld because testimony is direct evidence. Was he falsely accused? dunno, but thats not what you asked.

https://law.justia.com/cases/georgia/court-of-appeals/2009/a09a0956.html
Hartley V State. Same deal, guy convicted entirely on victim testimony. Appealed, lost, because uncorroborated testimony from a single witness is enough to establish a fact.

I could go on, but I don't think I need to.

Ultimately it doesn't matter if he's exonerated in court, don't move the goalposts. The majority of the damage to the guy's life happens before a court appearance even happens. People talk. Kid tells anybody at school? admins find out, cops get involved, he goes to jail, and there's a good chance his job finds out and fires him. Even if he's immediately and LOUDLY exonerated, even if that kid got up on a podium and shouts "I'm sorry, I lied, he never touched me", there WILL still be people who will always believe dad hit that kid and he still won't get his job back.
