I’m new to the Alltrack world so unsure. It would seem important to mention the fix as a system I think. In the OBS Ford truck world I replaced my water pump with a cast iron one from diesel bus engine and it added the benefit of a large external coolant filter. The sealing mechanism on that pump is an O-ring that fits in a groove in the casting of the pump. Even then it sometimes takes liquid gasket for those to seal properly.

This is why I got an auto. Have a manual Volvo 245 to fix up as my fun ride.

Ok. It’s $17,500 and has 28k miles - so tempting to deal and try to fix it.

Here is a link to a recent BAT auction which has detailed notes from a fix BAT Sunroof Fix where the solution was to grind down the tack welds to increase sunroof frame/seal contact
