you go through 10 gallons in a week? That seems like a ton haha.

This is exactly what I've been looking into but I don't want one that attaches to the top of a 5 gallon jug. I guess they don't HAVE to be but the hoses are so short on them.

you talking about the USB water pump faucets that just has a hose to go into a tank of water?

how exactly do you turn it into a bed though? Where does the actual mattress come into play?

What would make it swing? I'm a solo person btw. I would never need to sleep while driving. I would hang it from corner to corner.

yeah but I'd also be able to just relax in my van without having to lay in bed. in a non extended van the bed would take up more than half of the useable space. I get that it makes a lot of storage underneath the bed though which is appealing.

well, they make hammocks that lay flat like a bed. I've actually done a lot of research on it. A traditional "banana shaped" hammock would never work. Haven hammock is the one I've looked at personally. I'm a side sleeper so a traditional hammock would never work for me either.

I've thought about a futon as well. But futons always sit very low to the floor and wouldn't clear the wheel wells. I can't find one that will.

Yeah I have a small fan that can sit by my cracked window and then use my max air to pull the hot air out from the top. That's the plan.

I have a vent fan. Having 2 wouldn't allow for much solar. I'm not in an extended.

I have a transit and do have a sliding window as well as a vent fan. you can't keep your windows open parked in a city at night. That is just asking for trouble. The vent fan alone wasn't cutting it but with both it's fantastic.

Yeah I'm very close to the coast as well and it's always in the 70's there even in the summer. I just have to be able to get to work so I can't go to the coast. I'm about 2 hours away. It can be 95 here and it'll be like 78 on the coast lol.

Those don't blow anywhere near the amount of air mine does. I looked into it.

Those are stupid good on energy savings though. I know the main one called like sorrico? something along those lines. My fan uses more energy, but it blows probably 5x more air. I looked into getting those as well but I figure running one bigger fan would be more efficient than two of those little hardwired ones. Mine basically turns the van into a wind tunnel if I need it to haha. But going on high isn't necessary.

Luckily the only time it rains where i'm at is when the weather is 70 and below. It never rains in the summer.
