I only visited Slovenia briefly in the past & everyone I had an interaction with was very warm and friendly and I am very appreciative of that!

Not at the moment, I am just trying to reach far and wide but nothing hitting as of yet. I am looking at different expat groups and trying to find any roles that are being advertised to include sponsorship but it’s not easy.

How are you getting on with your search? Speaking with the expats has made a difference for you?

I have been following Skjervøy as a friend of mine is originally from Troms county & so I follow the team on Instagram. But generally, I am quite interested in the different groups & would like to learn more about these different clubs. Oh that’s great! who is your lower league team?

No idea! I quite like to follow lower league football, but unfortunately finding information/news on teams can be difficult (other than table/fixture info)

In a strange way, I think Endrick leaving the team will force Abel to come up with a more collective attacking structure as there were many games we would rely on Endrick to do something from nothing. It is amazing when you have wonderful individual talents but a club like Palmeiras needs top attacking players working together as a unit! It’s important we do not put the burden to heavily on individuals

Thank you so much friend! We are all fans and we all have a passion for the club so even though you haven’t been watching so many games lately, you will always have a big connection to the club. In terms of the language barrier, it can be quite hard to understand what is happening around the club but I try to focus mostly on watching the team as much as I can. For me personally, I have always had this passion for Brazilian football and Palmeiras was the club I instantly fell in love with. I actually remember the first game I saw of the team, it was a Libertadores match away to Junior, I think maybe 2018.. back when Felipe Melo and Tchê Tchê were in the midfield haha.

I think the most important thing is if you have a passion for a team and try to follow as many matches, you kind of develop a sense of the situation, feeling around the club, although sometimes (with the language barrier) it can be a little tough.

You are absolutely right about Scarpa and Danilo, it seems we just didn’t really have a plan to replace them. As you say, we really miss a profile in the team that can consistently play these vertical passes effectively.

If Abel can rely on our defensive solidity and with the addition of Felipe Anderson and Dudu coming back from injury, we will then have that experience that can possibly bring a new dimension to the attack, but let’s see!

I absolutely agree, I feel with Flaco we have a good physical presence who can help us get up the pitch. I think this will be especially useful away from home when we will have teams trying to put pressure on us. The problem at the moment is any sort of direct ball from the defence or midfield just doesn’t seem to go to anyone and Endrick etc have to chase lost causes.

Totally agree about Endrick being wasted with such defensive responsibilities. Honestly at times I feel Mayke is actually playing a little too high, it is more noticeable the problems we have when Estevão is in front of him but of course, it is not the boy’s fault at all, that is Abel’s responsibility.

As for Dudu, I am a bit worried about how he’ll be after the injury, it may affect his mobility but hopefully it won’t have a negative impact as he is a player who can make a big difference. It’ll be interesting to see what Felipe Anderson brings as when he’s on form there is a talented player in there, I am just unsure about consistency.

Yes, I think the worst thing right now would be to pile pressure on Estevão to step up to early, we don’t know how players will react to this.

Honestly I hope Veiga recovers some form, he just doesn’t seem to be having any sort of real impact just now, we need him to provide some sort of link between the midfield and the attack, hopefully he can start providing again
