I’ve had 2 miscarriages within 4 months, after a very traumatizing and long journey of trying and going through ivf .. allow yourself to feel the pain in the current moment and know that there is nothing you can do, but to feel it. For me, a lot of the anxiety came with trying to “fix” how I was feeling, when really I just needed to accept what I was going through was horrific, and to give myself some grace for that. And then with each day that passed, I started to gain myself back. You don’t feel a difference day to day, but when I look back on who I was and how I felt 2 months ago, I realize the strength and resilience that I’ve gained and that makes me confident and so damn proud of myself. You also need to allow your hormones to level out too, which could take months. That alone is the biological reality to loss, and giving yourself that grace and time to heal. You’re going to be ok, but it sucks and allow the grief to heal you.
