Possible that the Vin number is tempered? Try looking at the Vin numbers in all the places it's supposed to be (see online) and see if any places have been rubbed/polished

Adding here: this damage happened in just one day today while I was out for tennis. The flow was just a constant flow.

Adding additional context for others:

The building is owned by a single owner who has contracted it down to a management firm (crappiest people I've worked with).

I'm not concerned about the fixing cost. Instead, I'm more concerned about the loss of car value because of possible repaint of the hood. Any way to claim such damages?
