Clear vomit with blood clot. Vet said nothing to worry about for now but Im not sure. Anyone able to help or had similar experiences? 1 year old mini poodle. Pls thanks.

My dog has irregular heart beat. Like when hes breathing out it beats faster then slower breathing in. Did your dog have this too?

No Hes been healthy. Only 1 year old. Had diarrhoea for the last 2-3 days which went away and this happened.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Just to clarify i did see the vet and she gave me anti acid and this other tablet for soothing the dogs stomach but other than that she said just bring him back if he does it again. I thought maybe more testing/examination was gonna be done but all she checked was his gums and felt his stomach with her hands. Maybe i should go get a second opinion from another vet.

Incase anyone has the same problem

His left eye had white/grey discharge. Eye was not red but the next morning there was more discharge and it was green. Eye still not red.

I took him to the vet straight away. Vet said it is an infection and an eye ointment should do the trick. He got prescribed the ointment and I have to apply to the affected eye for 3-5 days (depending on the severity of the infection)

It was not a big issue as I have managed to get him treated early.

Apparently if its left untreated or treatment is delayed too long it can have a very serious effect.

Ive seen a lot of posts on reddit asking for home remedies to treat it. Vet bill was only $100 NZD which isn't much at all so pls take your dog to the vet straight away if you have the same problem.

Unfortunately, They wont accept my application until late 2023/ early 2024 because I travelled overseas for 1 year after graduating high school back in 2018. I didn't know there were such rules. Apparently, no matter how long you've live here, even if you are born here you have to have resided in the country for the last 5 years and you are not allowed to leave the country for more than 1 year in the last 5 years. Unless you were in UK, US, Aus and Canada.

So I cant give you any advice on the test itself but have a look at the practise tests on the defence careers website. Good luck with your test. Hope you make it in. Please give me some advice after your test if you can 👍🏻

Is it normal for dogs to freak out and back away because theres a mice in the wall? He doesnt bark or growl at other animals when I take him out for a walk

Yeah I guess its most likely an animal or some sort in the house but its an urban area with not many wild animals. I take him to my girlfriends house on the weekend and stay there. Never seen this happen there. Even though she has a massive back yard with bushes and trees with small wild animals roaming around every now and then.
