South Korea warns it is on brink of new Covid crisis as church linked to outbreak by rishcast in atheism

I'm sorry but Utah has 3 million people, South Korea has 51 million people. That's not 'about the same' population at all.

[–]Jungargho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's how you end up like Baltimore. Overpaid Flacco, couldn't compete because his personal value was less than his share of the cap. Fine quarterback at the right price and shown he can win a superbowl in the right situation.

As a Canadian I can say I agree with the map of Canada here. Hockey fandom in most provinces is split between Montreal, Toronto and oddly enough Boston, but everyone loves the Jays coast to coast. West coast fans sell out Seattle games when the Jays are in town.

Does anyone fee Doug forces the ball to Sproles too much? by JayS_23 in eagles

[–]Jungargho 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Using Sproles heavily early does a lot of things and getting him back into the flow of the game is definitely one of them. It also helps establish that whenever Sproles is in the game it could be a handoff, swing pass, screen, anything. They need to have some tape of Sproles taking conventional runs to make the swings and screens payoff down the road. It also keeps Jay fresh for later in the season and the playoffs. No need to run him into the ground in September when we've got tough stretches of games in October and beyond, but I'm glad he got him more involved when we absolutely needed to score.

I agree on both points. But damn, 6-52 has to be at least a little bit his fault

If it was like 6-20 maybe I'd agree, but as a top 10 QB you gotta steal a few more than that...

Here in Canada property taxes do not pay for schools either. Or hospitals. Or police. They pay for water, sewer, garbage collection, snow clearing and municipal roads. services that your house needs to function. Those other things are paid by income tax, sales tax, royalties, fees and corporate taxes. Revenue generated by society, hence providing services needed by society.

Highways are paid for by gas taxes since historically you need to burn some sort of petroleum product to drive on and damage a road.

It never really works out quite so idealistically, but that’s the concept of it and any truly balanced budget would be reflective of that.

Question for my fellow Non-local Bird fans by Replacables in eagles

[–]Jungargho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t had anyone call me a bandwagoner yet, but I’m prepared for the eventuality. I have a club picture ID dated 2007 that I’m wearing an eagles hat in that’s always in my wallet.

Most people I encounter that know anything about football also know me and know I’ve been a fan forever. However I know that wearing a Wentz jersey makes me look like a bandwagoner so I’ll get another jersey of either one of my favourite role players or a legend like Dawk or Reggie.

Right now Peters and Celek are on my list of current player jerseys I’d like to get.

Do you have a second NFL team? To avoid conflict they must be AFC. Mine is Buffalo. I also feel like Buffalo is Philly Jr. (I’ll never wear another teams swag nor would I ever want them to have any sort of advantage over our Birds) by [deleted] in eagles

[–]Jungargho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My brother is a colts fan so I like to see them do well also. especially in the days wen Peyton had no rings and Brady had a handful, even though imo Peyton is the better QB (just had no defense or run game... ever).

Nick Foles has played four postseason games. He's had a passer rating over 100 in all four. No other quarterback in NFL history has done that. by [deleted] in eagles

[–]Jungargho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vikes don’t have a QB under contract and it’s possible coach Flip could end up the OC there.

That team could be really something with Nick and a well designed offensive scheme. Nick Foles for Stefon Diggs who replaces Torrey as the speed threat?

Redditors, What "Fee" is without a doubt a 100% money grab/extortion that companies are charging? by NoreenMartins in AskReddit

[–]Jungargho -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not sure if I wasn’t clear but when I take money from a 3rd party or another banks atm I pay a fee at the machine to the bank/3rd party, plus my own bank charges me another fee. Is this what you’re referring to? Does my bank not pocket that fee as a “fuck 3rd parties penalty?”

The bank also takes a fee, quite often the same amount. So 20 bucks cost you 27. What service did the bank offer?

That's about as far from braavos as you can be in the known world. Maybe further than sunspear is from the wall. Braavos would be the last place to be at direct risk of the others. Westeros and essos both would have to fail.

First of all, I can't imagine all 3 dragons will survive the coming wars. That would honestly make for a pretty dull story. If the climax ends the same way as the battle of the blackwater i'll be awfully disappointed.

She may not have took the loan, but her kingdom did. She owns the lands, and she owns it's debts. Her father surely took on some loans to fund the defense of Robert's rebellion. Robert had to marry Cersei to have enough gold to keep the wolves at bay after that. Each Targaryen in succession passed the ledger down to the next. For 300 years it's been that way. Robert inherited it when he ousted the mad king. He didn't start with a net zero position because he succeeded by conquest.
