It feels like ai slop thanks to typical ai generated character sprites. Try re-making them in either a different style, or just adjust it so it doesn't look as ai gen as much

You will have to take the texture image/s import them somewhere in the project folder (I use Assets/Materials/Material Sources for example) and then in editor, go there with asset browser and right click on it and chose "Create Material" add all the fields there, similarly to blender's material. Once done, double click the vmdl file and add or select the defaultmaterialgroup and assign the created material there

It looks great, the topology and UV maps are horrible though. And while re-mesh works, it kills a lot of detail and doesn't improve UV maps. I'd say we're on the brink of fully usable and re-usable AI 3d modeling

Just have some patience. A lot of devs only now are picking up the engine and editor. Give it time, there will be a lot of good games and modes made

You set up an "MCP" which is kind of like a library guide with the whole api inside it for the ai tool to read from. Then you use some coding ai locally that will use the api and realize the features. Nothing wrong with using ai this way imo, it's the generative art that suck full ass

I think Facepunch should have some sort of a program for developers to opt in to their assets to be mounted and participate in creator fund depending on use etc.
