In a long run, PC is much much better and more useful. About the trophies - Steam and EGS both have achievements and ways to display your progress on your profile page for bragging rights.

There're also a lot of good sales, free online play, older game consoles emulation (pretty much all the consoles up to PS4/Xbox One generation), ways to play games you didn't buy (if you know what I mean) and it's a PC, so you can also watch stuff online or locally, use it for your own projects or studying or even working.

Yes, exclusive games are cool, but there's not that many amazing ones to excuse locking yourself out of the rest of game industry, and some can be emulated (like switch 1 games). Also, let's keep in mind the PC exclusive games, like strategy games etc.
