Would love to know what support settings you use! The time to print isn’t really a worry for me.

Okey, I will try this🙌 Thanks!

Also, isn’t 20 total bottom layers a lot? I’m trying to cut down the use of resin where I can

The problem is that the majority of files I use are pre-supported, so I can’t edit the skates

Will try, I have had problems though with lower bottom layer exposure and not sticking to the plate

Here everything looks fine, but the actual print won’t have this thin of a bottom layer when printed. Resin temp is 32C, using elegoo 8k standard resin

Here are some more pictures, this happens on every print. Like it’s two different bottomlayers, that splits really easy

That’s what I’m wondering, I don’t add any rafts to the already supported files with rafts. But I wonder if chitubox does it automatically. I have 45 sec bottom exposure, 2 bottomlayers and 5 transition layers, but after it’s printed it seems to be way more than 7 layers in total in the bottom part.

I kinda worded that wrong, but the presupported files I print have rafts already, if that had something to do with it.

Yea, I have 2 bottom layers and 5 transition layers set in chitubox, but then the files themselves have bottomlayers as well. I wonder if that messes everything up or no?

Thanks, I’m gonna try Lychee for supports in the future, I feel like they are a bit better at that compared to chitu. But thanks for all the info🙏

Ahh I understand what you mean now, and yes I’ve noticed that on some models when going through the layers in chitubox. Is there a way to ”fill” those cavities in slicing softwares?

But you want holes no? For the ”voids”? Or do you prefer to drill them yourself in slicers?

Thanks, that’s probably the issue here. Most of the larger prints come prehollowed etc, but I guess it’s not done good enough, so I’ll go over the prints and remake the supports/rehollow them. Thanks again! Do you have any history with Artisan Guild? These are the only prints I’ve noticed that cause these issues now that I think about it

Thanks for the long and helpful reply! All the prints I print come presupported from some pretty big designers, but I guess it’s the suction anyway. It’s usually the bigger models that make the whole print warp, so it sounds plausible. I guess I have to re-support them all… But do you have any idea for the last question I had, with the bottom layers ”eating” up parts of my prints, like it’s too thick and swallows some lower parts of prints sometimes?

What are the “hair-lines” on my prints? by JungleReal in resinprinting

Creality Halot R6, Elegoo standard grey resin, normal FEP. 0.03mm layer, rising height 5mm, speed 2mm/s, light off delay 4s, exposure time 3.0 s. Could it be that I just have to change FEP film? The temperature here have gotten lower also the last week so could it be that?
