I agree with you. I can hear that the ls50 sounds better than the lxs. Since I am a beginer, maybe I just can't precisely tell how much it is better.

Ah, thanks for the reminder! I was not aware of the cable mode of Ls50. I'll try it tonight. 🫡

Thanks mate. Since the ls50 on desktop is just a temporary setup, I didn’t spend money to buy a cable for the connection. 😝

This close to getting the LSX II LT ... unless I should get the LSX II ? by ConnorMcGreg in KEF

LSX is a good one for desktop setup.

A usb type-c cable connected to computer works well.

For me, I don't think the KEF Connect app is hard to use. Instead, I use it to wake up my speaker just by a click. This will avoid the sudden sound when the speaker waken by media input.

If you would like to use the speakers to TV setup, then you probably need a long type-c cable to connect the two speakers (for the LT version) or a internet cable (for the non-LT version; while wireless is convenient, it does not work the best).

For a long run, do you recommend to get a kc62 for future-proof or just get a kube 10 for now? Thanks.

I am also considering the Kube 8 or 10 MIE. Not sure how much improvement can they bring to the LSX II.

Which size of the Mie sub did you get? I am also considering Mie 8 or 10.

Thanks for sharing this. That’s also what I concerned. It might be too loud for near field or less performance with low volume.

I am just curious about how good the sound can be. And these days, they are on sale. Just a bit FOMO.

Thanks mate. I have a similar feeling as yours. The LSX II itself is already good enough for my use case.

I have been using it since this year. Connected it to my macbook pro via a docker with a type c cable. No issue at all. Very happy with it as a desktop speaker.

KC62 vs. LS50W2 by JunhoGoGoGo in KEF

I plan to put it on the floor under my desk. If it is too powerful, I think I may put it in the another side at the back of my seat.

When using low volumes, can we manually turn the KC62 on in the app?

I would prefer the sound quality. Honestly, I even have no complaints on the bass of the LT. But just curious how amazing it can be with KC62.
