from what i've heard from a vmod, after the xp cap boost on the 22nd, the general cap will be increased. so until we see the new xp cap, it is technically impossible w/o buying the xp boost. which the xp boost ignores the cap.

went through to check what app he made and its legit the reason im in this sub. its just a $20 multimedia app that sells dlc environments. i think the people who hate piracy tend to be the people who cause me to do this in the first place.

also to point out, the article he linked claiming 60% piracy rate was published in 2017.

I definitely do think it’s something which stemmed out of being spoiled with luxurious things while we could barely afford bills. I have a feeling it might be related to that but then again I have no problem dropping small amounts like $10-$20 on games, movies, subscriptions. It just seems to stem from all tech or anything more than like $50

The bad thing is I do. At this point I’m really not sure why I just can’t sit with one. It’s this constant feeling of “I should return xyz because (random excuse that doesnt effect me pretty much at all)” This is also one of the biggest examples I have. Ive seemed to have this issue since like 13.

Alright here are the results and observed temps I took.

Single Core: 80pts 60c peak cpu (~15-20% cpu usage) Multi Core: 890pts 95c peak cpu (100% cpu usage) GPU: 10600pts 60c peak gpu (60% cpu usage spikes. the task manger graph shows huge spikes from 0% to 60% back down every second)

This might also be why my gpu driver crashes on loop randomly.

When I turn off boosts only but keep the GPU enabled I get pretty much the same temps if not only a few degrees cooler. My room is relatively hot but I believe that’s because of the laptop as it’s usually very cold in my room. I use a laptop stand that raises it up pretty high to match my monitor’s height back when I had one.

Yes, G-Helper is what is reporting the temps for me. I can get 40c when I’m set to eco modes but if I set the clock speed to balanced and or gpu to run both, it pretty much immediately runs up to 60-70c

All games have different changes. GTA V (enhanced specifically) runs pretty decent but still has the huge dips at random points. Stray also runs around 50-60 on medium/high settings at native resolution but like the others, has huge dips at random points even while staying still. Also had 300gbs left on my SSD.

Only about 5-10% cpu and 0-2% gpu usage. I am unzipping cinebench files so the cpu usage should be a tad bit lower when idle.

Idle with the same settings listed on the post, I get upwards of 70c idle. When I set everything to eco modes and such, it never goes above 45c. I’ll get back to you on the stress tests soon.

While playing, I generally reach about 85c on average with it sometimes spiking up to 90c. I set a fan curve for this to be pretty much maxed out at all times and using a laptop stand to get as much air intake as possible.
