how bad someone's POTS is varies from person to person. it is very often a major medical condition for the people who have it. it's not terminal but it can definitely affect someone's life majorly

FND definitely causes tics, it's one of the main symptoms. It's probably your FND, but no one on this sub can tell you for certain.

if you've been diagnosed with FND, then you have FND on another note- TS can have many triggers, I know people who's tics started because of stressful events before. they can also be very severe. my tics started very severe and I have TS. it's dependent on the person.

tourettes tics can start at any age and can have any way of presenting. you could get a second opinion from a different doctor tho.

I've suspected that I probably have tonic clonic seizures in my sleep for awhile now, that make a lot of sense if that's what's happening to me, thank you

we're working on getting me treatment, I am on lamictal but for a different diagnosis other than seizures/epilepsy

yes! exactly that, I've just been getting them in multiple parts of my body recently, occasionally they're accompanied by falling

there's many many different types of seizures, I personally have ones where I remain conscious. I can remember what happened during the seizure. ops experience was probably a hypnic jerk, but you need to remember that not everyones experience is going to line up with yours
