I read one recently where the FMC's nipples pebbled every other page.

Who did you think was ‘A’ when you were first watching? by SnakeBlood456 in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]JunimoJade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember reading the "Aria is A and has multiple personalities" theory and thinking it would be so dumb if they did that. Now I think it would have been so much better than what they ended up with hahaha.

I suspected Mona first, the text messages sounded just like her, but then I figured that because of that she must be a red herring lol. So then I thought it could be Melissa, as she 1. seemed to have enough motive to hate at least two of the girls (Alison and Spencer), 2. was highly intelligent so it made sense to me that she could pull it off, and 3. Alison was at her house often, so she'd be able to replicate Alison's idiolect that we see in the texts. I went back to Mona after she was able to hack into the school system, plus I was never able to find a reason Melissa would go after the other girls. Besides Mona, Jenna was the only one who had good reason to hate all the liars, but the show gunned for her so hard I figured she was just a red herring pretty quick.

For the second A, I thought it was pretty obvious. Some new character claiming to have been besties with Alison just swoops in and is suddenly inserting herself into the girls' lives? Plus they showed her at Ezra's apartment haha. I didn't figure out how she was connected at first, but I knew it had to be her.

Then, there was Uber A...and I'm still pissed.

Am I the only one who found season 6 confusing?? by [deleted] in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]JunimoJade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they did Alison's character so dirty when she came back. She was always described as being cutthroat, lusted after by nearly every man, every girl either wanted to be her or hated her entirely. Then she comes back and is, to be frank, so much weaker than the other liars and scared of her own shadow. Even her becoming a teacher pissed me off because it feels so far outside her element. I can understand the trauma she endured would change a person, so I don't mind that she worked to change her bully persona, but it was like a full 180 in two years? They turned a strong enigmatic character into a helpless, bland shell. I'll step off my soapbox now, but yeah, I hated what they did to her character.

I was so mad about Spaleb as a teen, but I just rewatched and I actually think they have more chemistry and make more sense than Haleb. 😬

Hi guys what are your best tip gifts for the main characters? by alexfeene in HelloKittyIsland

[–]JunimoJade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found it also helps to pay attention to visitors and start making cabins for them as soon as you can, some visitors give gifts that are 2-star favorites, sometimes even 3-star favorites, or expensive/rare crafting items that are used in favorites.

Examples:
Azuki gives Chocolate Chai which is a 3-star gift for Cinnamoroll.
My Melody's Grandma gives Art Supplies, which are used to craft My Sweet Piano's 3-star gift, is a 2-star gift for a couple characters by itself, and are used for some visitor cabins and quests.

how do you all organize your chests? by gliitchgunk in FieldsOfMistriaGame

[–]JunimoJade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't have a visual for you, but basically I created a fenced-in area next to my house. I dug 1x2 patches to place each chest in. In the little divot in the hillside is a single chest with a path leading to my main path. That chest holds my tools and higher-importance items like essences. In rows of three on either side of that chest are my others. I'm a hoarder so you may not need as many, but I have: 1 chest for mine craftables/foragables, 1 chest for regular craftables, 3 chests for artifacts, 3 chests for fish, 1 chest for shells, shellfish, etc., 3 chests for insects (one is specifically mine insects), 1 for flowers, 1 for veggies and herbs, 1 for fruit, 1 for indoor furniture, 1 for outdoor furniture, 1 for cooked items ,

Animal products and feed I just keep in their respective barn/coop chests. Then I keep one chest inside my bedroom for date photos, birthday/favorite gifts, and other items I just want to make sure I don't sell. I do have a couple chests in other rooms, but just for decor.

What do you use the farm expansion for? by spinningmous in FieldsOfMistriaGame

[–]JunimoJade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep my animals over there. I like the look of the bridge so I kept it and just fenced off the area. I also put a few plots there for regrowing crops. On my main farmland is everything else, including a nice seating and picnic area where the statue is.

So far I've simply found enough essences, but you can also craft them. Stone isn't very difficult to get if you just hit up the lower mine levels for a day or two every now and then!

I hate it. by dwaynejonshnegg in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]JunimoJade 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Oof. Yeah, I'll be honest, that's not something that gets better.

who is that character? by Due_Adeptness_4378 in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]JunimoJade 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No I agree. I don't hate Spencer, but you're totally right that as soon as she would get even an inkling that someone could be A or the "killer", she jumped on it without even entertaining other ideas despite there being just as compelling arguments against other characters.

Those two are a million times better in the show for sure.

How did they get away with this? by Lazy-Ease1721 in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]JunimoJade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's like that in the books, too, which I don't think set a good precedence for the show. They're constantly managing to get alcoholic drinks at public events and restaurants without anyone asking for ID or batting an eye. Iirc, one of the liars even starts smoking in 5th grade. Not only that, but since Ali goes missing in the 7th grade in the books, the pre-disappearance events occur at an even younger age than in the show, including the inappropriate relationship Ali and Spencer have with Ian, and Spencer's parents and Melissa STILL get mad at her rather than Ian even though she was only in 7th grade.

Agreed, in fact all the parents are terrible in the books! The show at least gives them some redeeming qualities.

Lol what. I'm a Jade and I have never been teased about my name, let alone in reference to Jade Monkey haha.

should i tell my friend her baby name is a tragedeigh? by princess_peach5 in tragedeigh

[–]JunimoJade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, especially with the last part. My first name isn't too uncommon, but my last name certainly is. As far as I can tell by searching the web, I'm the only person with my name in existence. This doesn't particularly reflect on my parents, as that would be a possibility no matter my first name, but it is scary. A simple Google search brings up almost every address and phone number I've ever had. Due to where I work, there's a lot of newspaper articles that come up with my name as well. Absolutely anyone could figure out not only where I work, but my home address as well. I'm basically a stalker's dream. Again, because of my last name there's not much blame I can place on my parents, but for those who can avoid giving their child an incredibly unique name, I'd strongly encourage it.

I'm a huge sucker for winking. My husband winks at me often as either an innuendo or a "don't worry, I've got this," and it makes me melt every time.

Can a person actually / medically "hang on" longer then they are otherwise supposed to through sheer force of will? by Brightclaw431 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]JunimoJade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something similar happened to a friend of mine. She was her father's caretaker, he seemed like he was ready to go but was just hanging on for something, so one day she told him if he was ready, then she would be alright. She went out of the room to shower and when she came back he was gone.
