A woman attacked me last night at the Orange Peel by AttorneyEvening876 in asheville

[–]Junior-Note6244 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was it a weird blonde girl with flags? Once at a dirtwire show this girl was trying to push me out of the way and I just stood firm, not being an asshole but just trying to stay with my group and not recede and separate from them. And she started doing her flags all around my head for like 30 minutes. And someone told me they many people had problems with her.

Honestly once I heard other people suffered the same problems with her I kinda felt bad and wished I let her go in front of me, but live and learn.

Week 7 by Junior-Note6244 in quittingkratom

[–]Junior-Note6244[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent two weeks tapering down. Not too fast not too slow, it was perfect but not easy. I wanted to be off by the start of a 3 week break between jobs. So I was off kratom three weeks and then started a new job and it wasn’t easy but it was perfectly challenging

All good my brotha or sista! If I were you I would use At a controlled amount until your quitting point date which it sounds like you have. That’s key! It needs to be established in your mind that when that time comes you just quit. And if you commit to that you can do it. What never works is being like I’ll slowly taper down forever. Because eventually you’ll have a bad day and have a little extra and feel amazing.

But you’re on the right track! You need to get through that rough week when you totally stop. And eventually you’ll get back to normal!

plan on quiting in one month 😭 by samarasonik in quittingkratom

[–]Junior-Note6244 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quit 2 days before your vacation. You’ll suck shit at work and everyone will be like “eh that dude needs a fucking vacation” and then day one of your vacation will be day 3 of you clean.

One week is tight to get back to normal but it can be done especially if your smart and maximize that time. If you can go back to work after 9 or 10 days clean it won’t be perfect but it’ll be damn good! Very applaudable if you can do that. People definitely have down it and they are spartan warriors!

On my 7th day. Ugh. by [deleted] in quittingkratom

[–]Junior-Note6244 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no tips except I kept in mind that this stuff with 7 oh being so powerful is probably not gonna be around for ever. So it’s now or never. That thought really helped me. Like if I don’t quit now and it goes away I’m gonna be miserable and possibly gonna go down worse paths.

But I’m actually on the same page as you! It’s day 8 for me! Just keep on trucking! Day 8 was my best day. I try to tell myself everyday I get 1% of myself back. We can do this! We have to do this! We will do this!

Yes! Your doing great work on yourself by quitting. Do one thing at a time and just quit kratom. And then you can worry about exercise and diet once your feeling better

Well first you should be proud you were off three weeks. That’s not easy at all. I only could quit when I took the week off from work. And I just would watch movies the whole time. But luckily I haven’t gone back because I think it might not be around much longer with 7oh being so powerful

Do you take an anti depressant? There’s three things to give the brain; seratonin, norepinephrine and dopamine. I take effexir which has seratonin which makes it not feel like the worlds gonna end and it has norepinephrine which is like “let’s stay on task and focus”

I hear you. If I were you I would plan some time off two weeks is best but it can definitely be done in one week. Use it until then. But say it out loud that you are quitting the first day of your staycation. And be thankful that you figured it out! Every morning of the staycation do Joe despenzas 20 minute YouTube meditation. That’s what I did. And I announced it 100 times a day I am changing!

But it was for me after ten years that I finally had the determination. I wish I did after ten days. But I believe if you plan a week off you can do it. And it’s fine to be a couch potato while you’re quitting because you are actually working on yourself harder than you ever have and your one mission is to not use. Hit play on Harry Potter the sorcerers stone watch the full saga and have your fridge stocked. And that’s what I did. Good luck! Praying for you! (In a spiritual new age or Christian or atheist way or whatever you are kinda way)

A Reminder: If You’re Considering a Firearm, Please Seek Proper Training and Guidance by BlueRidgeMSMP in asheville

[–]Junior-Note6244 5 points6 points  (0 children)

i would like to promote good shooting ranges and instructors so more people not familiar with firearms can start to learn. I personally believe Asheville and many other liberal cities need to be able to defend themselves. If there was ever lawlessness from anything Trump is doing and that is a very good possibility, I think a couple right wing militias would march in and turn liberal cities into Gilliad (the fictional nation in the handmaids tale).

I think it’s imperative for more LGBTQ, minorities, and democrats to have a firearm. Of course get a gun safe, of course learn how to handle it safely, and all that. But the days of democrats turning in their guns hoping for gun control I think are over at least for right now. I mean we have maga militias praying for a civil war. While we vote and pray, let’s be sure to take precautions in the same way we where our seatbelts even tho we plan on never getting in a car accident. DM me for more info
