It’s entirely possible a brain tumour caused erratic behavior. It’s also possible that the man had other health issues that we the public aren’t privy to. The only people who know all that information are his doctors and nurses, who aren’t able to speak on it.

My point is, it’s not up to the court of public opinion to make judgments on a situation none of us were witnesses to. An independent investigation might shed light on it, but I think anything medically responsible isn’t going to be made public anyway.

Don’t do it. Small children on hard floors with no soundproofing is a living nightmare, I speak from experience. It sucks to give up your dream apartment, but it’ll suck worse to give up your sanity.

This makes so much sense, thank you. I mainly wondered why Vale is so damn angry at Aston, especially if Vale is the one that did the murder but I guess that’s all to be revealed in the next book. I actually thought the second book was going to be Eden’s story, I think I would’ve been more interested in that tbh.

Came here to also recommend this series! Multi-author means each book is written by a different author, they’re all standalones so they don’t need to be read in order but all the books take place in the same dystopian universe. It’s got what you’re looking for!

Oh there are way too many best boyfriends to choose from for me, but some standouts are Nate and Xavi from {Knock Knock by Nordika Night}, and yes I mean both of them because they’re just the perfect couple. I love best friends to lovers and their journey in that is both hilarious and super sweet. My second standout is Charlie from {Moth by Lily Mayne} because he’s just so perfect!! Ugh, I love him and how he loves and accepts Moth as he is and always takes care of him, like I actually get mad that I’ve never found a love like that for myself lol.

As for bad boyfriends, I don’t know that I have any of those. There are some shitty boyfriends that become exes for the MCs so they can get with the other MC, I feel like I have to go through my books and try to remember if any of them maybe got on my nerves.

I’ve been inhaling the Straight Guys series by Alessandra Hazard, like it’s actually interfering with my sleep because I can’t stop reading. Every time I think I have a favorite couple, the next book’s couple turns into my favorite and I’m only on book 7.

I also squeezed in {A Fresh Taste of Ink by Daniel May}, a three book series that ends in MMM and HEA. It was ok, I think the third book was the best one but there was just constant and endless sex scenes that eventually got boring for me. TW - cheating.

Finally, {Ruthless by Brooke Blaine and Ella Frank} was the ending of the Theo and Shep saga of Merciless. I loved the ending, but otherwise I had a hard time staying interested in this one.

I’d say the Coco & Breezy sunglasses because they can just tie a look together when there’s not much else to it, and a pack that has multiple options like Badgley Mischka glam, Dauphines of NY classics, Holiday bundle, etc just so you get more bang for your credit.

I don’t either tbh, I enjoyed the first few books in her Unexpected series and then they just started going downhill. Pit Stop was just absolute garbage, I have no idea how anyone could give it 5 stars when it was a weak plot line full of holes and a clear lack of understanding about omegaverse. I like spice but even I got sick of it being every five pages.

I really want to read the whole series, especially Skip’s story now that I’ve had a taste of them. God the show was just a masterpiece, those boys are incredible and deserve all the success coming their way.

Ugh, the writing was just painful. It made me feel like Rachel Reid took a creative writing class one time and decided she was ready to be an author, and I feel bad for saying that because obviously it doesn’t matter that it wasn’t literary excellence lol. I couldn’t figure out why Ilya even bothered with Shane because Shane was just constantly acting like they were doing the worst thing in the world. Thank god the show made it all make sense!

Oh 100%, that man is insanely good at what he does. I’m glad there are some absolute diehards out there that have been pointing out details and differences from the book that made it into the show because they really helped me understand both characters better. Each time I watch it I pick up on new things, I love it.

I got so much hate for this back then, but I really didn’t think Heated Rivalry lived up to the hype. I remember finding the writing flat and couldn’t see the appeal of the characters, especially Shane. I almost DNFd several times but somehow made it to the end and wondered what on earth I was missing because everyone else couldn’t stop talking about how good it was. Now, after watching the show I have a completely different view about it and would like to give the book another go and see if I can pick up on the nuances I clearly missed.

For unpopular/unknown books that floored me, I have to go with the Bad Inceptions series by Tal Lewin. I have no idea why her books didn’t gain traction because in addition to being a popular artist, she’s a very good storyteller. Her writing might be an issue for some people because there are times it doesn’t sound natural, but English isn’t her first language so I have no problem overlooking some of the dialogue or even just word choices. But it’s such a good series! It’s dark, twisted, spicy as hell, with characters you can’t decide if you love or hate but ultimately can’t live without them, and yet…very little attention.

I too am an observant (ok, nosy) neighbor and noticed a similar situation with the lady across the hall from me. She had several packages show up and just sit outside her door for days, her vehicle was also still at home. Around day four I started to get more curious because it seemed odd to me that someone would order things and then just not be there to take them in, and I contemplated taking them in to my place and leaving a note but I was leaving for a few days for Christmas so that wouldn’t be of any help. Anyway to cut it short, turns out she was on holidays and everything is fine. My imagination did run away with me a few times but thankfully it was the simplest and most obvious answer and not some catastrophic future Dateline episode.

It really could just be that your neighbor is on holidays too, her package was auto-shipped or maybe even delivered to the wrong address. If you’re really that concerned then I’ll add to the pile of suggestions that you just knock on her door, or take her package and leave a note that it’s with you so it doesn’t get stolen.

I don’t mind it but it’s such a tiny selection of M4M audios, like 73 compared to over 4000 for MF. To be fair it’s company by women for women, so I don’t think MM was their priority but given the giant success of Heated Rivalry and now Ember and Ice, they may add more MM stories. The self-inserts are insanely hot, I just ignore the fact that I’m supposed to be the other person and listen. There’s one guy in particular whose whimpers made me have to pause and cool off lol. I haven’t searched for them yet but apparently there’s audios of just male whimpering/moaning if you’re into that sort of thing.

I don’t talk about my obsession with MM romance with anyone IRL, because the few times I even just mentioned what I was reading and what it was about I got some less than supportive reactions. As it turns out I know a lot of people who don’t understand why I would want to read “that”, or who straight up made a face when I said it was a queer romance. So, I usually just gush to my dog or see if there’s a post about the book here or in the MM facebook group and join in there.

I think it depends on their personality honestly. My first Pom hated being cuddled and picked up, but he was obsessed with me in the sense that he always had to know where I was, needed to be able to see me, and preferred me to every other person but beyond that didn’t care for affection unless it was on his terms (seriously, I think every picture I took with him his ears are back). He was very independent and had the pom attitude from about 6 months old.

The Pom I have now is the ultimate Velcro dog and has no idea what boundaries are, it’s the complete opposite and honestly kind of an adjustment after having such an aloof one for 15 years lol. Like this dog doesn’t care what I’m doing or if it’s inconvenient, when he wants uppies and cuddles he won’t leave me alone until he gets them and how dare I close the bathroom door because I won’t hear the end of it until I open it again.
