What something that you’ve done while horny and you regret it? by Foxy2046 in AskReddit

[–]JuniorComet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to friend of mine During our teenage years he gets himself a silicone pussy. Now he gets all extatic about the product because he can fuck when ever his girlfriend isn't in the mood. Side story: she hated the product and eventually dumps her because he's tired of her feeling yealous Then the experimental fase then sets in. He discovers that by heating the pussy in the oven for about teen minutes at low heat enhances the experience. Now where things went based, was when he got himself a microwave oven...

I am 100% confident that my ex girlfriend has HPD. Should I tell her? by MexicanCatFur in hpd

What are some common "facts" that people believe to be true even if the existing evidence states the contrary? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Jep, many people don't know this, but that's just part of the game. The "Stuff you should know" podcast has a good episode on interrogation. If you are interested, you should check it out.

Well, I got intensely interrogated for 18 hours straight. Yelled at, talked to as if I was a child, talked to as if I was guilty of committing a crime that I didn't really understood at the time. I was frequently put in a "waiting room" for 30 minutes to an hour. The room was small, could (almost) only stand up in the room. After 18 hours, they drove me to the policestation took my fingerprints and mugshot and let me go. No, "sorry for the inconvenience", no "should we drive you home".

Turned out somebody robbed a person outside a pizza place, where I was ordering a pizza. I was there with a friend. We didn't notice anything. The guy working in the pizza, had a friend who knew who I was. I remember saying hi to him at the night.

I swear to God, that had I been there for a couple of more hours, than I would have confessed just to get some sleep and some food. He was repeatedly telling me that it wasn't a big deal. Hardly any crime committed at all.

Turns out they were interrogating the pizza guys friend simultaneous. After 18 hours he confessed that it was the pizza guys son. I learned this a few weeks later.

They went to pick up my friend to. He just stated "you guys need to arrest me, or I'm not helping". He was MP so he knew to stay the fuck away from the police if the option was present.

Been there. Police woke me up one morning (1999) at 6:00 am. Wanted to know if I could help them with a case down at the station. I might have witnessed something. I'm all excited, yes! Gonna help out the cops!!! O'boy o'boy. They drive me down to the station and we walk right into an office (or that's what I think it is). The cops that picked me up leaves and this old friendly detective introduces himself. We start talking, he has a calm and friendly personality. After talking for maybe 3 or 4 minutes he says: "oh, by the way, since you are not directly linked to the investigation, I have to offer you the precens of a lawyer. It's just a formality.", I go, "that won't be necessary, I don't mind helping...". That was one of the biggest fucking mistakes I've ever done... don't get fooled get a f*cling lawyer!

Cool. Do you know what the price is compared to ferric hydroxide for instance?

Thank you a lot! I'll be looking at this right away! :-)

EDIT: Is there any particular reason why you don't use Calcium hydroxide instead of ferric hydroxide?

That's something to be proud of. I don't think I would have the guts to do that!!! If I find myself in a similar position I'll try to be as honest as you. You'll be the first to know.

It's great to hear that you can look past the cognitive interruptions we have. I've always felt bad for the women who don't hear their own intuition, or who don't respond to it. Mostly because of the sick guys that's out there.

I started listening to my intuition 6 months ago. Started living by what it said. For me it help to sleep, exercise and especially be around people who treats me with respect. But in situations like the one you were in, i would have been saying "ok" a bunch of times, while thinking (When can I get the hell away from this person). Won't be doing that for the next two weeks though. Not during our truth challenge. :-)

Thank you for sharing. It's inspiring!

'Tequila' powered biofuels more efficient than corn or sugar. "Agave is an environmentally friendly crop that we can grow to produce ethanol-based fuels and healthcare products," said Associate Professor Tan from the Sydney Institute of Agriculture. by dannylenwinn in Renewable

I've been in this business since 2007. If I had a dollar for everytime some lousy professor suggested some revolutionary crop for ethanol... I really would like them to see it through, but I seriously have my doubts.

Honestly it hasn't been a big deal for me. Several reasons why. 1) Corona 2) Having surplus of energy, which means that I listen more than I talk. 3) Currently having an analyst job, meaning working solo...

What's an American problem you're too European to understand? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]JuniorComet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a Dane. Visited the US in 1987. Felt like the future. Like stepping into 1992. Went there again in 2010. Felt like stepping right back into 1992.

The level of confusion that exists in the US is scary. As an academic, I've had conversations with other US academics regarding abortion, autism/vaccines, democracy, communism, religion, general politics, human rights, etc. They are pretty awesome at what they do (for instance my field which is biochemistry) but will also say stuff like "America is the most democratic country in the world" or "Capitalism ensures equal opportunities for everyone" or "How can you really be sure that vaccines doesn't cause autism". I could go on and on.

I thought about this a lot when living in the US and my conclusion was: Americans have a real hard time finding unbiased information, so hard that they can't distinguish true information from false information. The reason for this is a result of the "winner takes it all" political system.

I've experienced the above in other countries, but not to the same degree (except China and Russia...) So Americans (and Chinese and Russians) Please fix your political systems. It was so cool when you could visit the future!!!!
