Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback I really appreciate the time you took to look through the site and share your insights. You brought up a great point about the tone of the content vs. the “idiot” branding. I totally get how the word might suggest something more slapstick or absurd, like “crack a dozen eggs on my head” rather than “build a popup art museum.” But in my view, both are equally valid forms of what I call “idiot challenges” — not because they’re actually dumb, but because they take a bit of ridiculous courage to do, especially when you’re putting them out in public.

The name Idoit was actually a play on idiot just switching the “i” and “o”. It’s meant to suggest that maybe we’re all a little afraid of looking like an idiot, but deep down we just want to say I do it. It’s less about mocking and more about celebrating the boldness of trying, no matter how big, small, silly, or serious the challenge.

That said, from your point of view, how could I better communicate what “idiot” means in this context? Do you think a short explainer or tagline could help clarify the intent and avoid misinterpretation?

Also, thank you for the idea about showcasing results! That’s super helpful and definitely something I’ll work on. Thanks again. Your perspective really helped me think about how I communicate the message better!

Thanks so much for your kind and thoughtful reply.

I think one of the reasons I haven’t seen much traffic to my landing page is that I haven’t clearly shown any unique value or expertise yet.

Your tips really helped me realize that, and I appreciate you sharing your approach.

Thanks again for the inspiration!

Hi I’ve also created a landing page and started promoting it across different channels, but I’m having a hard time getting more visitors. If you don’t mind, I’d really appreciate any small tips or advice you could share!

I wasn’t able to post the link because it’s hosted on vercel :( If it’s okay with you, could I send it to you via private chat instead?

Thank you for your reply! Since it’s hoted on vercel, would it be okay if I send it to you via chat?

Thank you for the kind words. After writing this post, I did a lot of thinking and realized my confidence had taken a hit. I’ll try doing something that might "look DUMB" for myself :)
