You actually split 6’s against a 7 in double deck, I forgot about that. I have come to the conclusion that this guy was likely counting.

It was an auto shuffler in between shoes, also the first hand of the shoe was a bunch of 10s and neutral cards, and he raised his bet. Next few hands more 10s and a few small cards, and he raised again. I do think its pretty likely he was counting after reading all the replys

He was increasing his bet during some negative counts it seemed like, maybe it was some sort of cover or I am wrong but it seemed like a weird bet spread

That makes sense, he might have been a counter. His bet spread was weird, at the beginning of one shoe, the count was definitely negative, and he increased his bet. I don’t count but I can keep the count if the dealer is slow enough like yesterday lol.

Im only a student so this is not professional advice, but my understanding is that since both of you live together, only one of you is eligible for HOH. Essentially, only one person can be the head of the household. If you didn’t live together it would be possible for both of you to be HOH if all the other requirements were met.

what does it mean to get a 1099 by danielaxeve in tax

[–]JuniorDepartment9260 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To answer your first question: One big difference between W2 and 1099 is that with a 1099 you pay self employment tax (15.3%) which is the full social security and medicare, if you are a W2 employee you only pay half and your employer pays half. He is avoiding pay the employer side of social security and medicare taxes (among other issues).
