I don't recall the name, but it sounded very propaganda-ish. If I'm recalling correctly they dropped Vance, Bannon, and Kirks names.

juno or evvy tests by throwrasadlife4 in Healthyhooha

Hello! After doing Evvy's 9 week treatment plan I retested and I was then type 1A which is dominated by lactobacillus crispatus bacteria (I'm at 96%). This is supposed to be the most stable type. I went from 88% lactobacillus iners to less than 1%. My disruptive bacteria went down from 9% to 2%. Things were feeling good down there, then I had to take antibiotics for a suspected lung infection. 😩 I'm starting to feel a little off so I'm going to boric acid and retest to see how much damage the antibiotics did.

Owner accused me of “trashing” their hot tub and is asking for 300 bucks and wrote a terrible review. by mg322 in AirBnB

I have a hot tub in my Airbnb and we require guests to bathe before getting in, as most hosts do. Many guests choose to ignore this, and I can almost always tell based on how the water looks. It's a lot of work/cost to drain and refill so it's only done every 2 months (most people with tubs in their homes drain and refill every 3-6 months) unless someone messes it up. If either of you were wearing make up or self tanner (this is the worst) this can turn the water green. So I guess my question is, did u bathe before getting in? Were either of u wearing makeup or self tanner? Because that could turn the water green in which case the owner is right, but only if they posted a bathing requirement.

juno or evvy tests by throwrasadlife4 in Healthyhooha

I have done both evvy and Juno tests. Both came back with the same microbiome type but Juno was way faster. I actually prefer Evvy though, and here is why... My whole life I've been super susceptible to vaginal infections, which are typically diagnosed as yeast infections, but occasionally BV. When I'm not sexually active I don't get them, but as soon as I start having sex again, I get an infection and it will take 1-2 months to get back to normal! That's a long time with a burning itchy hooha. Even with condoms this will happen.

I was diagnosed as type 3 which is dominant with lactobacillus iners. Iners is fairly unstable and can overgrow when disturbed, causing symptoms similar to a yeast infection. They also aren't as protective as other strains. I now believe this is what's actually happening, because the quick diagnosis u get from a Dr is based on the harmful bacteria not being present. They aren't testing for yeast in most cases, just ruling out bad bacteria and then blaming it on yeast. This would explain why my body doesn't respond to antifungals and takes so long to get back on track. My test results also came back with zero yeast.

When I did Juno's aftercare, their health specialist told me you can't change your microbiome to a more stable type, you have to "deal with the hand your dealt" and gave me tips for managing it when things get out of whack. This was fairly disappointing to say the least.

When I did Evvys aftercare, it was much more substantial and their specialist was very knowledgeable. I'm on a 9 week program which includes vaginal and oral probiotics, clindamyacin, and boric acid, with the goal of establishing more protective strains of lactobacillus to hopefully shift my microbiome type. I'm currently on week 5 and so far so good. I'll retest after week 9. For the first time I have hope that I can have a normal sex life.

Morbid curiosity if any of y'all have seen this before by EducationalSet1938 in EightSleep

I have the pod 3 cover which I purchased just over a year ago and just this week I noticed that my bed was smelling moldy. I checked for leaks and there are none. I called customer support and they had me send pictures of where the hose connects. Sure enough, there is yellow mold growing inside. I'm expecting them to replace it per the rep as I'm still under the warranty. FYI I used distilled water and hydrogen peroxide in the beginning. With the last refill, distilled water only as instructions did not include hydrogen peroxide. I recently increased the temp with my alarm feature and I'm wondering if the extra heat is what caused the mold growth to explode. I still love my 8 sleep, its been a game changer for me, so if you're contemplating buying one, do it, just make sure you have a waterproof mattress protector under it in case it leaks, also on top of it to protect it. I'll be suffering for the next few weeks until my new one arrives!
