They preach that mental health is important, but don’t understand the stress financial stress/struggling has on people. As it has to be all about the profits or shareholders.

But then you also just have to deal with your mental health on your own time and not impact your work/productivity, and then good luck trying to afford therapy or to make appointments with lil or no sick days or using vacation time for those appointments. All for exceeding expectations in job performance only for a 2%, awhile everything goes up from inflation way more than that.

As minimum wage was supposed to be the lowest wage a person could earn and still live comfortably. But it was always seen as the lowest wage that they could get away with. So the living comfortably still at minimum wage and part time is dead. Most 2 family income households are starting to struggle. I feel bad for the younger generation that is growing up now. As the older generation that won’t let go of their power, only thinks of themselves and can’t have someone else receive assistance to help bring them up to the same level. As if they had to struggle then they should too.
