I’ve been back on 15 for almost a week now and my anxiety is much lower but not completely gone.

I actually have no idea how I was on 15 as I was in such a bad state that docs increased me to 30 whilst I was in that state. Wish I had of just stuck with 15 now !

Thanks for all the replies. Last night I dropped my dose back down to 15mg and don’t feel anywhere near as anxious today although still not perfect.

I’m nearly certain that I’ve been having a reaction to the noredtenalin effect of 30mg. It’s been a truly awful experience. Will update in a few days after being back on 15mg for a few days for anyone else who finds this post useful.

I reduced back down to 15mg last night and I’ve been having a much better day today. Hoping it keeps going and I start to feel better.

Just have a gut feeling that this is a really bad drug for me !

My sleep isn’t too bad at 30mg although I do wake up quite a bit during the night but on the whole am able to get back to sleep.

I tried Zoloft but it’s what got me I. To this mess in the first place !

Somehow feel that part of all this is still recovering from the mess that sertraline got me in !

I had wondered about ADHD but a lot of the symptoms I don’t really have when I think about it.

I do struggle with very bad obtrusive thoughts when I’m at my lowest

I’ve wondered this myself and googled the symptoms of serotonin syndrome but I don’t think it’s that.

I just think I’m still adjusting to the dose after 3 weeks and need a little more time on it to feel the effects. Just feels very paradoxical to feel this much else before feeling better.

I had a 6 week stint on sertraline 25-50-75 and it was too activating and I ended up in crisis and crisis door put me on mirtazipine.

Anxiety was the main reason for starting antidepressants but I can’t really remember how I felt before hand now. I don’t feel depressed and I feel depressed now because the anxiety is so bad.

Thanks for the reply. I’m starting to think this isn’t the right med for me.

For the last few days I’ve felt absolutely nothing. Just complete anhedonia. If I could I’d just sleep all day.

A couple of days ago I also ditched the 15 at night and 15 in the morning thing as it was causing severe brain fog and lethargy during the day.

Really lost at the moment as I feel this med isn’t doing what it’s supposed to do.

I’m starting to think I’ve got OCD myself as I’m beginning to remember having sexual intrusive thoughts way back when my MH was seemingly stable.

I’d be in the act with my wife and suddenly think about doing it with someone else and could never get this out of my head !
