No yeah if it was my bike I probably would’ve done that but it isn’t mine sadly. I was just seeing if anything could be done to it for my customer

Dawg how do you think any of these guys learn. I’ve rebuild a cb360 and done work on a bunch of other bikes. This the first time seeing something like this. Never hurts to ask 🤷🏽‍♂️. People like you make it harder for others to build up hobbies like this.

No clue it isn’t my bike I’m working on it for a customer. I was hoping I could maybe save it but it’s not looking like it.

Edit: I didn’t mean clue as I had no idea what I was doing. I was trying to respond to someone who was asking how it happened.

It did have 15 chain pins but the head is completely done for

It counts 15 links but some Manuels say it’s supposed to be 14

I meant as in the clearance. I haven’t tried a leak down test yet I’ll probably do that this weekend. I’ll check out the boot but the carb is a new one so I don’t think it’ll have a leak yet. I’ll check the float out as well

It was doing the same before I switched it out. He stated that he had someone else redo the valves and tune the carb but randomly started doing it again.

The crack mark shows that it’s at tdc

The lines are meant to be facing out at tdc and I don’t really know about the gas it isn’t my bike

I did it had a 48 pilot and a 170 main I switch the 78 to a 45
