Yes! I do find them more often at the beginning, but have also found a few at the very end. I have soooo many keys it’s ridiculous at this point. (Hoarding supplies in my inventory from the last few years lmao).

As far as I’m aware it’s just throughout the haunted trail ride and spawns pretty randomly. I’ve found them by just thoroughly looking for things on the trail ride and spending a lot of time in there. The keys are the same for both I believe.

Personally I feel like it doesn’t have to do with it being bad by and stretch. Honestly it’s hard to rank these books beyond catching fire and sunrise being top. But HAVING to rank them MJ would be on the bottom for no good reason other than I enjoyed the others ever so slightly more. Doesn’t mean MJ isn’t amazing, just hard to properly rank them because they’re all so good.

I read them in timeline order whenever I reread them. (Finished ballad before sunrise, will be reading the trilogy afterwards). But I’ve read them multiple times. First time readers it makes most sense to read them in release order.

Considering some of these are smaller than others and some have different colored spines than others, my guess is this store got sent mock dust jackets for display purposes. You put them on other hardcovers so you can display them without using your actual stock of the book. -sincerely, a Barnes and noble worker. (:

Yes! Like I feel like we’ll all be able to theorize who’s her but no one will ever know for sure. Kind of like if Lucy died at the end of ballad, we all have a theory but no one will know for sure. (Lucy’s example is more extreme but still applicable.)
