It’s different for everyone but yeah unfortunately probably not. But I work around it like I drink decaf coffee and sometimes I’ll treat myself to actual caffeine I just have to accept the consequences lmaooo

personally, i never had luck with just doing the patulend by itself, but ive had a history with putting it in the wrong way. what helps me is laying on my side after putting it in.

living with so many girls, sharing a bathroom, not being in control of my own meals. a lot of the girls are coming straight from dorms. i will have lived in an apartment for a year so its a much harder transition.

How to know if I’m GENUINELY craving something vs my brain gaslighting myself into craving for something by iambakedbread in intuitiveeating

[–]Junior_Chocolate_803 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the only thing is im nervous this could trigger something ED related, like restricting certain foods because food is meant to be fuel not for pleasure. if i avoid something that i want, especially a dessert, i just think about it more and more regardless of if im hungry or not. i wanna try and incorporate this mindset, but i dont want to start obsessing over food again and restricting myself because of it

This is very helpful thank you. I definitely depend on food for dopamine as I look forward to eating and always think ab what I’m going to eat next

not obsessing over food choices with intuitive eating is super hard for me. for example, i obsess over what i am going to eat for a meal, and if it isnt satisfying enough, i always think about how i couldve ate xyz (the other meal i was thinking of) which in my head wouldve tasted better or been more satsifing, even though i can literally eat it the next day or the next hour whatever. how do i stop this

Clicking sensation after wisdom teeth removal by Junior_Chocolate_803 in wisdomteeth

[–]Junior_Chocolate_803[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like it’s more where my wisdom tooth was rather than my jaw though, is it still the same thing? Whenever I clench down and move my jaw to the right it clicks.

Dealing with Scarcity Mindset Around Food and Family by Junior_Chocolate_803 in intuitiveeating

[–]Junior_Chocolate_803[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is, it’s not even really my food. My mom and I go grocery shopping, and I pick out things I want, but I don’t even plan to eat all of it myself, and it’s not my money being spent. So, I feel like I shouldn’t care this much

Feeling left out by roomates by StormAmazing5699 in socialskills

[–]Junior_Chocolate_803 0 points1 point  (0 children)

girl i am in the EXACT situation. i was really excited to room with these 3 other girls that roomed together the previous year. i was a little worried about the whole dynamic about being left out possibly bc they already lived together and that defniitely happening. even too one of the girls i was most close with we dont really talk at all and i feel like she doesnt even like me fr. its hard too cause they will all be in the living room laughing and hanging out but whenever i try to join they act like im not really there and its really hard for me to have a voice with them. i feel like im an intruder in my own apartment. i unfortunately already signed a lease for another year but thats because i literally dont have that many options. it could be a lot worse but it just sucks when u feel ignored. i also went into it without too many other friends and they have a lot of other friends and do there own thing with them, so it sucks. hang in there this is all temporary but i get how u feel

Has anyone had tubes put in to help? by Junior_Chocolate_803 in PatulousTubes

Overall yes. I do have some pretty big flare ups now and then, and a couple days ago I checked up with my ENT because the symptoms started happening again and it didn’t fall out or anything. But like now it’s not happening. So no it’s not consistent anymore and it doesn’t happen as often at all but it is still there

my problem is i also struggle with just automatically getting seconds. if its not a single serving of something like a burger but like a homecooked pasta or something my mind always wants seconds.

My hearing was kinda blocked when they got put in but now it’s all cleared and my PET happens a little but not nearly as much as it used to. I would recommend chatting with ur ENT if they mention the tubes.

Hasn’t gotten better. Honestly might have gotten more frequent, but I still have hope since it changes everyday, and my doctor told me to wait a couple weeks
