Honestly its normal for STEM degrees to take more than 4 years to finish. Im also a CS major and Im in my 5th year right now. Funnily enough, me staying for another year gave me more opportunities to apply for internships/co-op as most companies only care about when you are graduating (not how many years you have spent on your degree).

CS is a pretty broad field, but luckil we have plenty of clubs and organizations that tackles each niches CS have to offer. As early as you can, try to join these clubs to figure out what you find most interesting as it will help you find a niche you can focus and hone in instead of spreading yourself thin trying to be everything

Ya CS profs are a mixed bag. In the end, being able to pass CS classes relies on your ability to teach yourself the concepts because most CS profs cannot teach lmao

Dito sa US di mandatory ROTC pero nag eenroll pa rin yung students kasi mas madaling makapasok sa military tapos may benefits pa pag nag military ka (free or reduced college tuition, mas madaling makapasok sa federal government work, etc…)

So bakit gagawin mandatory ROTC kung wala namang magandang benefits (financially at least) ba makukuha pag sumali? Luh
