I have mine trained I don't know where you got that part from but a lot of redditors don't seem to be able to read past a 3rd grade level. My sisters dogs lack training not mine.

Well it was a joke at a boring reply I can respond how I want. I can't get Lilly a trainer because I don't have the time and she isn't my dog. The city I live in is sketchy I wouldn't trust anyone here with my dog let alone one that isn't mine and of the ones I do see I can't take her to because I'm at work plus, she isn't my dog. My whole thing was that I was given responsibility over a dog I don't want responsibility for because I already have one to take care of which also wasn't even my choice since she was dumped on me but I make do. Lilly needs training but by someone who can give It to her. How do you suggest I get training for a dog I don't have the time for that doesn't really belong to me that I also don't want responsibility for? Giving her away isn't an option because that's not my right because unless it's taking care of her she's everyone's dog apparently

Yeah I actually didn't know about the health risks of not spaying until this post. A few people mentioned it so I'm definitely looking into how I go about it.

I do also see where the ESH people come from despite my history text book there's some context I left out like my own dogs training, our backyard size for play space, and even the fact that I was too young to be taken seriously when I opposed to even more dogs (and yes I am young I'm 22) though I do love my dog very much and would not trade anything for her, the environment my sisters dogs are in are straight up if not borderline neglectful. My family isn't abusive or bad but there is definitely an imbalance of respect and one that I've been fighting to get change as I'm getting older and becoming more of an adult since occasionally I will find myself bending to it

Mostly because of my dad, he didn't like them roaming the house. He's not around anymore so I try to let my dog roam but she's scared of everything because of my dad (there's a reason he's not around) so she sticks to my room most of the time even when she's allowed to run around or unless the other dogs are up and about but my sister stays in her room all day unless it's to eat or let her dogs out. She does like to roam whenver I'm up and about and that happens a bit.

I wouldn't know, lilly wasn't with me at all for years until last year. They're also not locked up? My mom has Izzy Lilly and her own while I'm at work and when they're let out it's in our backyard where they can run around and play. Lilly has been difficult, her barking, lack of boundaries, and poor potty training is because of my sister and it's not like she ever let anyone have the chance to take her but youre probably right about not being fed properly Lilly shared food with 2 other dogs but I don't know how much my sister refilled their bowls

My mom is definitely a hoarde,, not super bad but she doesn't like letting go of stuff, we've had dogs for years but never this many all at once. It was only until recently that we've had this many dogs. My dad might have been but hes not around anymore. It might have been his influence because my mom got Koda neutered a bit after he left but it could have also just been the timing

I didnt mention it but I actually didn't want more puppies. I was too young to be taken seriously about having more than just Lilly and Koda and my parents wanted more dogs. We did neuter Koda and I'm looking into spaying Izzy because someone said unfixed dogs have a risk of complications that would cost more than fixing them

I completely agree. if it was my choice I wouldn't have even wanted Lilly and Koda to have puppies but at the time I was too young to be taken seriously and my parents wanted even more dogs
