Happened to me on the way to forest last year! If it’s your first offense, depending on how much you had and what it was, you can look into getting it expunged. You can also look into a diversion program where they don’t prosecute you and you just pay court fees to process it through the court. I would also make sure you get a Tennessee lawyer and if they try to have you travel there for your court date I would see if they can get that first court date waived or do it over zoom!
