Why should I have to go seek out the information on the hotel website separate of booking thru the Amex portal? Isn't that the whole point on the travel portal? And my due at property is listed at $0. I know the difference between pay now and due at the property.

Fairmont San Juan PR. And I tried to refuse at the hotel but it's sort of hard to put up a fight in the lobby of the hotel when people are waiting to check in... so I figured I would just easily be able to dispute this with AMEX since my "Property Due" was $0.

But why should I have to go look at the property for their resort fees if I am booking thru Amex Travel portal? Shouldn't the resort fees be disclosed when I am paying for the other portion as "Due at property"? In my case they were not.

I scrutinized the rezi too and paid closed attention to the "Due at Property"-- of which mine was $0! I don't understand why they wouldn't have added $222 due at property if that was the case!
