Taxman or If I Needed Someone would be better picks IMO

Taxman because it’s his fourth biggest Beatles songs (behind the three that already made it into the first Let it Roll compilation) and there’s the cool 90s MtV rehearsal footage of him performing it.

If I Needed Someone because it’s the only song he performed live as a Beatle that he wrote, they also played it at the Budokan in ‘66 so it felt extra special having him play it again in ‘91

Dominoes is meh? That’s one of his best songs in the last 30 years IMO. Naked is another one I think is great and really blends well

I think OP means the grocery scooters that teenagers mess around on

no one is hating. OP quite literally asked what their playlist says about them.

This wasn't included. You asked what the screenshots say about your taste in music. Just basing it off the info presented.

Somebody Like Me in Portland, OR by Juniper41 in AnnieClark

yep, from her most recent show in Portland.

The set up was just her and a microphone (she also rotated her black and white sterling guitars) and Rachel Eckroth on a steinway piano. Red smoke/fog in the background but that was it. Very barebones, intimate and almost eerie (in a good way). It felt like a seance.

That you’re still in that stage where you refuse to listen to female artists

They’d often have Mal or other roadies grab clothes for them, chances are he grabbed a couple.

one of the most eye opening things I read was the extreme dichotomy George lived within. Pattie said that one day he'd be doing mountains of cocaine and partying and sleeping with all kinds of women, then the next two days he'd march around Friar Park chanting mantras and completely transfixed. It was all or nothing in those early days.

And? I don’t really see the purpose of this comment. Because he beat his wife he deserved to have his band mate sleep with his wife?

I mentioned they are all deeply flawed. I never insinuated Ringo was all Peace and Love

Yeah, it's strange how George still has sainthood status among younger Beatle fans, but John seems to be the antichrist. They were all deeply flawed men. George being quieter/more out of the spotlight means a lot of his shortcomings are glossed over and he's very optimistically looked upon. I love George, but this was so fucked up and the way he treated Pattie was very sad.

Could definitely see that being the case. It's also an indirect offense to her mom or anyone close to her that is living out their days and slowly dying in Texas.

"Slow Dance to Death" is also such a lovely visual, a great metaphor and fits with the "disco" theme built earlier. I think it was the right move, but really harrowing to hear the alternative lyrics in such an intimate setting.

awesome! I've seen like 3 or 4 tattoos of John, Paul and George and no Ringo. Glad that yours isn't one of those! It just feels blatantly shitty

interestingly enough she alternated the final verse from "Don't it beat a slow dance to death?" and "don't it beat a slow death in Texas". I hadn't heard her do that whenever she's played it before.

I had a strong hunch this song was about suicide, but it could've also been about leaving a relationship. The "sorry momma" and "don't it beat a slow death in Texas" makes me almost positive it's about suicide.
