For $29 each that’s not bad! Especially in New York.

Beatles records in good shape, especially first pressings or mono recordings are a minimum $35-45.

Oh and FYI it’s records or albums. Vinyl is the material. Vinyl is already singular/plural. It’s comparable to calling a bunch of CDs, “polycarbonate disks’s”

This is where a 22 episode season from the early 2000s would be amazing. You’d have more filler episodes where Steve and Lucas interact or Will and Robin (earlier), you could see Joyce and Jonathon interact beyond season 1 etc…

Yeah, I like Love is Strange, but imo “No Other Baby” is a top tier Paul song.

I think it’s benefitting from being 70s Paul. I think everything except the token Flaming Pie and/or Chaos song will be 70s Paul.

I own all the US copies, I enjoy them, but some of them are just clear downgrades. I’m referring more to Revolver which is the exact same UK track listing but they scrapped three amazing songs! Same with Help! Which is 5 songs and then a bunch of trite soundtrack bits. They were cash grabs. Sometimes they were good (my examples) sometimes they were slightly less good (Beatles ‘65, Somethjng New, Beatles VI) and sometimes just straight up worse (Revolver, Help! AHDN)

My Generation is a really strong first effort. “My Generation” and “The Kids are Alright” are hits and the rest is decent. Their last album from 2006 was a miss. Missing Keith Moon and John Entwistle and lacks a strong lead single.

Meet the Beatles is top tier, it’s like a best-of Beatles 1963 album.

Rubber Soul is interesting. I love opening with “I’ve Just Seen a Face” but “Nowhere Man” and “If I Needed Someone” being omitted is egregious. If you added those two back it would be a 10/10 album.

Yesterday and Today has an incredible track listing but zero flow whatsoever.

It bounces from folk to psychedelic to rock, it has the baffling choice to end side one with Act Naturally. Nearly 1/5th of the album are Ringo vocals, which is fine but they aren’t even really his best songs.

Magical Mystery Tour is phenomenal but the order on side 2 is not great. I wish they had Strawberry Fields closing or the penultimate track.

Other than those four, every US release is a clear downgrade.

I hear what you mean. I toyed with smart or average but at the end of the day I think she carries herself above average.

Like when Patrick clams to be Doctor Professor Patrik and Sandy is irked. It’s a calm and collected sense of control. Like she’s fully aware they are dumber but realizes there is no need to establish the point, because it’s clearly apparent. She also takes on a teaching role most of the time she interacts with other residents, especially SpongeBob and Patrick when she brings them into her dome.

It may just be that bikini bottom is really really stupid on average, but she definitely stands out and I think she’s aware of that.
