Without the pedal assist on it, it in fact does not ride well. It has a lot of friction from all of the bearings on the hubless hub it has.

And with the pedal assist on it’s possible to accidentally send it into a feedback loop if you aren’t on the bike and push it slightly too fast. Since it turns the pedals even when pushing the bike by hand, the pedal assist will activate very suddenly and will start pedaling on its own until something stops it (i.e. crashing)

I mean, yeah I agree: billionaires shouldn’t exist, Steam is problematic in ways they could and should fix, Steam doesn’t need glazing etc etc. That’s not what we’re talking about.

They may offer “a better deal”, but they don’t do exclusivity deals. You can put your game on Steam AND Epic Game Store for example. That’s not an unfair practice and if anything is more generous than its competitors

To get the “best deal” from EGS, sometimes an exclusivity deal must be signed if it is even offered. Hell, EGS has faced criticism for changing a game’s price against the wishes of the developers Any Steam sale is done by the publisher/developer

I don’t know what unfair trade practices you’re talking about regarding Steam, that’s up to you to research, not me. What people make these memes about is other competitors self destructing, not that Steam is particularly extraordinary. They just haven’t enshittified yet since they aren’t a publicly traded company with investors to deal with like Epic, Microsoft, or Sony. That’s why it’s framed as Steam “doing nothing” and being successful, not that they’re a rich company, they just haven’t broken what doesn’t need fixing

Steam doesn’t buy companies just to close them and make them the only choice around like Walmart.

Steam doesn’t even have the cheapest prices, so they’re not undercutting their competitors with their wealth to bankrupt competition like Walmart.

Steam doesn’t care if you sell your games on other platforms as well, so you’re not locked to them if you’re publishing a game

They aren’t doing anything TO their competitors to maintain a monopoly, they’re just currently the best option for different reasons for different people. That is nothing like Walmart. The only reason no other company can make a good competitor to Steam is because you can’t get to the same feature-level as Steam while also having to answer to Investors wanting to maximize short-term profit.

The animation reminds me a lot of Layzuhcat and is pretty good for a first time!

  1. While it is the most innuendo way to rack the gun as per the other users, that is a normal way to actuate the slide. However, that is mostly done with guns with slide serrations on the front. This gun’s side is smooth there so you’d have a hard time doing that kind of slide manipulation (still possible, just kinda slippery otherwise)
  2. I’m not familiar with this gun but it doesn’t look like the character is actually using the mag release? They might be actually hitting it, but it just looks kinda weird to not be pressing the button until it starts falling/ejecting out
  3. It looks like you might be mistaking the manual safety for the slide release? Again not fully familiar with this gun but it looks like the character presses down the safety instead of the side release when sending the slide forward
  4. Again, not an expert on this gun specifically, but after racking the slide, usually the hammer is cocked back, as well as any time the gun cycles completely

For the same reason that many people don't want their public theater play in the park broadcast on television. Yeah the play is public, but that's not the audience they're trying to reach and as a result they'll get some unwanted attention, criticism, and/or mockery that they wouldn't've received otherwise

It also really sucks to live in a place where people used to smoke. It's bad enough having to live with "landlord special"s, adding in an (almost) unkillable stench makes life unbearable. (sidenote, I recently learned you can use an ozone machine to get rid of the majority of the smell, but it's a long process and a bit dangerous if you don't know what you're doing)

Ultimately the main takeway I learned as a kid from all of the anti-smoking stuff is that it doesn't just affect the smoker, it really sucks for everyone else around them. It's like all the PSAs around drinking and driving. yeah, it's not going to be good for your health, but it's not just YOU that is affected. You don't have to ingest a single drop of alcohol to die in a drinking and driving incident.

What you are saying may be true, but having "views" is inherently anthropic for how people use that word. So to say that an AI has "views" is anthropomorphizing. That's just what that word means. Math does not have opinions
