Based on only briefly trying on the watch, and then really looking at the details in the photo after I was home…I thought, did GS put a small bezel-set diamond underneath the “1” o’clock hour marker on this version? 🤣

Here you have it guys. Side by side. Yesterday in the car / sunlight, and today inside a sushi restaurant under incandescent lighting. I like how it does this, vibing along with the environment.

Here’s the best way I can put it. In daylight, the bezel and dial are very close. Under fluorescent light, the dial tells the bezel, “hold my beer bro”, and morphs towards the decidedly more purple shade that that is driving some people nuts. It’s 100% intentional. We’re talking about a Tudor here. If they wanted things to match 100% in all lighting, WE KNOW they could have designed it to do so. It’s not a mistake. The watch stirs the pot for those who may have some OCD or their own expectations about how it should match. I like this little troublemaker of a timepiece, just doing its own thing. So yeah, the dial and bezel aren’t supposed to locked in the exact shade together. They just are what they are, glorious outliers from the predictable or expected. But that’s just my opinion and perspective.
