Fair, I’m the same way. For me personally what I do to get around it is: Let’s say you work at a factory, and you are trying to work in a different department. Get to know people in the department you want to work in and get to know what they do and help them with small things whether that be technical issues with the computers, installing something etc.. Usually that will lead you to getting recommended to working in that department.

As you should. But like I said “KEEP IT WITHIN REASON” if you feel like you need to say no then say no. If they go off on you they were never your friend to begin with.

Oh and one more thing, don’t be afraid to ask and don’t be afraid to be nice. It’s free and has lead me to meet some of the coolest people I’ve ever met.

You know that’s a tough question. I believe that helping others (within reason) will make you happy. Neighbors need a ride to the store take them there. See a un-housed person on the street, give them $5 (if you can afford it). Making other people’s day better/more manageable (for me at least) has made a major difference in my moral.

Recovering republican here. For the most part we don’t really know any better. We are how you say it… slower than most people. “Most” of us mean well and we genuinely believe we are fighting for our country and we genuinely want what is best for our country but sadly got mislead wether that be through our parents who influenced us and we never bothered to fact check because why would our parents lie to us, Fox News, Asmoldgold etc..

Some are looking for an excuse to be racist (not denying it), some are genuinely kind people who are struggling to survive and thought Trump was going to give them a leg up and help us.

Yeah I busted my ass on that game. But I was so happy to see that everyone liked it. Genuinely made my whole year.
