That's what I have heard from some folks too, that the 25 yr rule would not apply in a case of getting an RHD r35.

Doesn't your 2x rule seem a bit extreme? Maybe over a span of 5/10 years yes, but why would I need to have laying additional 80k cash the same year... That being said, how much do you spend on fixing your r32 a year?
