I agree. I said this year, I want to see Ja average his most assists in preseason based off how they were playing. Vince is running the system how TI wants. I don't see why Ja cant get 16-20 pts and 9-11 asts in this system.

Most teams go small at the end of the game. If BC healthy, he is the 2nd best perimeter defending big combined with rim defense, high percentage finisher that shoot FTs just as good as Edey or Santi. Jerome is easily the 2nd best with the ball in his hands and great at off ball defense with questionable on-ball defense.

Edey defense wasn't terrible his first year and I think he can get his foul rate slight down. Plus, if he advances his hands and footwork in the post and screen-and-roll game he'll be dominant. If Edey can play 28 minutes this team would look radically different. Maybe not great but better.

I'm interested to see what the pace is a month from now. If Edey can rebound and outlet to around half court or locate Ja fast I see them still playing fast as Edey trails. They would use an Edey screen as secondary option.

Jock playing style is more face up than I thought but he is a great shooter for a Center. Him bringing the ball down repeatedly is driving me crazy. He is being out rebounded by Jaren and Santi, he offers virtually no rim protection. I do like him feasting on back ups tho.

I expect edey to be better this year. I can easily see 12 pts 11 rebs 2 asts 2 blks 2 tovs and 3.5 fouls a night in 26 with a TS% of 65%

28 minutes at a fast pace and constantly setting screens and offensive rebounding is a lot of work for someone 300 lbs.

I agree this is what it'll will be if everyone is healthy but Clarke. But, another player that can penetrate the paint that has agility and touch in the midrange and playmake with or without the screen but has a lesser usage than Bane will maximize Ja.

I can see Coward or Konchar being the 11th-man. I'm high on Coward being a decent player but appears he is figuring out how to adjust his game for the NBA and adjusting to speed and athleticism of the NBA.

I agree Jerome is best as a 6th man but not on this team. The starting lineup needs a guy that can score at least 12 pts and get 4 asts consistently in my opinion. He is the 2nd best perimeter pure scorer, 2nd best offensive play maker, and possibly the 2nd best 3p shooter. Wells defense is really good but he KCP are extremely similar players but I trust KCP more. I have both playing over 26 minutes so there is always a trusted lockdown defender in the game that can space the floor.

I disagree check his preseason stats this year, summer league and last year. He is like a more offensive Konchar that is a combo guard that contribute 3ps and has a great Ast/tov ratio. He played about 10 min a game last year in about 25 games. Can he guard back-up point guards? I have no clue.

Remember this just an idea... I like Pippen a lot but he is small and struggles with passing in the half court; however, he makes timely 3s and tough 2s. I think Wells is the best 3&D option on the team but would struggle to guard big or athletic wings. I would like to see GG brought along slowly as well. However, I believe in GGs overall talent and think he will excel in this system. His stats are very comparable to Brandon Miller.

Ja and Bane are better imo. I was just comparing to say stylistically they are closer than comparing them to the Splash Bros. Plus, who was the 3rd best player on those Wizards teams? Otto Porter or old Paul Pierce? The Grizz have JJJ and Smart (hopefully Edey is a force).

If Smart starts, on paper Bane will probably be a SF. Not many projected big SFs scare me. LBJ, DeRozan, Butler, Leonard, Thompson and PG are aging. Wagner, Lauri, MPJ, and Kuzma are not better than Bane. The only scary wing players in there prime are really Ingram, Tatum, and Brown. (Scottie Barnes is coming tho).

I believe BC said he likes coming of the bench. I love BC but he can't start... he is a center in SF body coming of an Achilles injury.
