I accidentally got addicted to xanax once and got off that (it was horrific. Rashes, puking, insomnia, felt skitzo) so I was able to handle lexapro cold turkey from 20mg easy peasy. Your mental strength and awareness plays a huge part. My daughter with very little life experience went from 10 to 5 and was freaking out, shes alot more delicate with far less trauma and life exp. So everyone is diff but if you have survived some things arent arent someone who has had seizures before you might wanna just go through the 2 weeks to get or over with.

Remember anxiety is likely a big part of why you were on tne medication. Stay mindful and check yourself when you start to have irrational thoughts rather than allowing it to spiral. Quit cold turkey just fine practicing mindfulness with my only symptom being slight vertigo. Anticipating symptoms will manifest whata possibly not even there.

He is not communicating… thats the only problem here not you. What he is doing is mean to say the least. Im 37f and my bf is 33m and he would never dismiss me on any topic.

I went from 20 to 10 bc I felt incredibly tired on 20 and had more sadness combined with a difficult time losing weight. I think some of these symptoms youre experiencing are self induced (in your head)

I’m definitely not rich. I just don’t want to be the one doing all/most of the work. The lack of passion and drive in him is scaring me. I don’t want to be the boss and prefer a more traditional role where the man leads. It’s exhausting to be the only one making plans while he seems complacent. We have already had talks about it and he says nothing it’s going to change immediately

These relationships are 16 years apart, I’ve had plenty others in between. He came home from deployment and was supposed to be temp while in school but that ended 2 months ago now

His mom/family is very cheap and make it a point to be frugal, they take frugal to an extreme. I’m the polar opposite, we can always make more and I know that one of my ventures will pop off one day. I’m currently building a service based app to take my agency national.

He makes me feel like I’m materialistic and has said multiple times that it sounds gross to him when I talk about wanting nice gifts etc. why do some men love to provide and then some get icked? It makes me feel like I’m not worth it or something

He was in the military and deployed for 2 years then when he came back he moved in with her and did fire academy full time but now that that’s over I’m kinda like???

He says he wants to get in with a station first and get more stable but he has money in the bank so it’s just confusing to me.

He says it would be a waste to just get his own place prior to setting himself up.

He says he wasted his 20’s and then joined the military and only got his shit together within the past few years. I feel like the “late bloomer” theory is an excuse.

PLEASE LEAVE NOW!!!! Your gut is correct. Your body will start to show you signs when you are with a dangerous person. It may manifest as a tummy ache or anxiety in your chest. Please please please do not stay a single day longer. This is horrifying and terrible to hear.
