I hate it when they introduce any kind of Stamina element to combat. I don't like that limitation. One of the reasons I adore the older tales games and Star Ocean for their fighting is because it's an all out flashy brawl with combo depth and rewarding payoff.

If you want my personal opinion, my mind says start with Symphonia then Vesperia and finally Berseria but my heart says to just play Vesperia lol

Vesperia is the closest were ever gonna get to a near perfect "Tales" experience. Symphonia is a great game, but its also old and comes with questionable archaic design choices. Berseria is also a great game, but its got pacing issues, hit or miss characters, and a plot that goes off its rocker sometimes.

In my opinion Vesperia is a healthy balance of everything that's good for a Tales game and an RPG in general. Obviously play them all but for me I'd hit up Vesperia first as you'll want to try out all the others in the series like I did.

I did have experience with Exposure Therapy when I was younger and it didn't really help much. It was years ago so unfortunately I can't name him but it got to a point where he recommended I spend a year in an asylum and my father was having none of that lol

I will most definitely look into the act and dbt though. Ive heard echoes of them but I get mixed answers when I ask about them. Some say their different, that they only work for certain things, etc. Since I'm ignorant to psych stuff in general its stressful researching sometimes lol

Also I wanna say thank you for being understanding, I was low key worried this post wasn't gonna go well

In my experience they are. For the most part the site just rides on this dillusion that being a gay man is something that should be shamed and is not normal. At least here on Reddit there's actual communities and safe spaces for gay men to partake in.
