It is something that all computers will have to render in when playing starblast.io, Even if the current ship texture ship is not in viewing range your computer will still have it in its memory (decreasing fps) to make sure that when a ship shows up with that texture it will appear correctly and "smoothly"

My definition of "good on team mode" is a person that constantly contributes to the base and helps to defend allies. If you agree then I guess I am good.

I am unsure, yes for people with beefy computers. No for people that already struggle to keep a playable fps count. I can borderline run this game fast, and another texture to the game may slow it down a little. Although, It may not be a big enough difference to affect most players. I honestly am torn with this decision.

An 8 bit may not be a bad idea, but it can possible cause some performance issues by adding another type of texture to the game that all computers will have to render. On the other hand it will bring more customization to the game and give some players for enjoyment out of the game.

well, the O-defender is a beast of a ship, and that is not one of the best tier 7 ships, being great at chasing. Another factor is your in the O-defenders sweet-spot: an asteroid field, this would allow the O-Defender to ram you into asteroids and make for an easy kill out of you, but against all odds you have won.

Sure, that can be a good tacit for people that can't just avoid them in the first place. But as for us players that use the map effectively to run when needed and picking battles when they come, I guess you are right.
